“dedicated server service is a joke”

signed up a short while ago as I wanted to host my sites in the UK and found lcn.com. their 45 main setup was not 45 minutes, it was at least double that, we had an issue with the service and needed a restore fast, but they came back with a couple of days to just organise it and they'd get back to me, their support were useless the lady I talked to didn't have a clue (nothing personal she was quite friendly) and ended up moving to another host which turned out to be much faster than waiting… Read Full Review

“Very very week”

I lost four domains (about 1000-2000$), because lcn.com didn't accept my card (foreign bank), and there is no other option of paying, NO paypal, NO egold, NO money transfer, NO NOTHING :) Very pro company. “Hosting suspended without notice or explanation....”

All my email accounts and web sites have been suspended without notice. A Message saying "Web Hosting Expired" has been placed on all my sites implying that I have failed to renew my fees or failed to manage my sites. My hosting package is not Expired....it has another year to run. I cannot divert any of my emails to another account so I can stay in touch with my family. “Beware, they filter all emails and drop them silently”

I had some problems with not receiving some emails or some emails that I sent not being received. At first LCN denied that it was them and tried to blame others. Eventually I was able to demonstrate that it was LCN that was not forwarding the emails and they admitted that it was them. It transpires that they filter all emails in and out. If any emails score too highly on their filters they simply drop them. No notification is sent to either the sender or recipient and the messages cannot… Read Full Review

We use LCN to host our E-commerce site. There is far to many problems with them. Service is terrible with promised calls from a senior manager that do not happen. Currently my site is down and has been down since last night. They have promised me it will be sorted within three days.... this is laughable for routine maintenance that was scheduled to be 9 hours. “VPS too much downtime”

There are too many incidents that my company's VPS account has been subject to downtime. The current incident that we've had is that our customers websites have been down around 16 hours, which is not acceptable when you are running a web business. I've been with LCN for around 6 month and had about 10 incidents regarding downtime or extremely slow responses, and now with the current incident (16+ hours complete website downtime) I'm getting fed up. “VPS UpTime - Pathetic”

I host 12 or so customer sites on their VPS. I was referred to them because their sister company Server Choice kept having technical difficulties. The up time is terrible, the VPS doesn't actually crash but the network connection is always going offline for 15 minutes here, 30 minutes there. “Terrible web hosting and customer service”

Shocking over 4 days now been having problems with the server crashing. Waited over 24 hours for the RAID to finish rebuilding which they told me was the problem when that has not solved it at all! I'm confused, did the RAID array fail to prompt a rebuild?

Otherwise if it was setup properly the surely there wouldn't be any need to rebuild, it normally does that automatically depending on the configuration.

“Terrible Network for Dedicated Servers”

Been with LCN for nearly two years now with a Dedicated Server. There were OK to start with but recently have been terrible. Useless Network which seems to suffer from numerous outages that are never explained. Support take forever to answer and never actually give a real explanation as to what the issue was.
