From booking this weekend to it arriving all went really smooth , they kept us informed all the way , we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate using awesome weekends again . Spa was a bit grim but the massage was great just what we needed after a night in funny girls .

“Had a wicked time! Great place to get ur head down! ”

Berties lodge was a good place to get ur head down if partying all weekend. Staff was very helpful and polite. We had an amazing time.

“the hotel saved this review”

booked with awesome weeknd from speaking to the manger the impression i got was badly run company and i pictured the office to be a cockroach infested bedsit some where in blackpool not a good impression she spoke to me like she wanted to meet me after school and have a fight a complete bully and needs retraing now the agent on the other hand was very friendly and bent over backwards to help us he was the supervisor he needs promoting to manager and his manger needs demoted to toilet cleaner evertime i spoke to them.  i came off the call feeling like a valued customer i loved the hotel he booked us into and had a blast at funny girls if i call to book with awesome weekend again will keep calling untillthe agent answers will not book or deal with anyone else because of the agent i have gaev a good rating and recommended them to my friends oen who has allready booked for this weekend. keep up teh good work

Thankyou for taking the time to review your weekend in Blackpool. Thanks to bookings such as yours, taken since 2004, Awesome Weekends own and operate modern offices in Blackpool. Some of our competitors may operate out of cockroach infested bedrooms but fortunately we do not.

I interpret your review as a clash of personalities you experienced with one of my staff and a much better experience with a second member of staff. Having spoken to the staff involved it would appear you were verbally abusive to several members of my staff. Fortunately, our sales manager intervened to ensure your booking could go ahead as other members of our team were of the opinion that your booking should have been cancelled due to your rudeness.

A positive outcome was eventually achieved and you went on to have a great weekend stay. As a Business owner, I am pleased with this but would ask you to be slightly more polite when dealing with my staff in the future.

really impressed you took the time to read and answer the review couple of points I was talking to the sales manager maybe you should give her some pointers on being polite to customers my negative review was based on her and the inpre4ssion I got6 was based on her and from reading reviews im not the only one who has experienced this however I will admit I could have been more polite but getting a phone call the day before my weekend form the manager to say you hadn't paid the bill kind off ruined my good polite mood as I had paid you the full deposit some 3 months before also now having to listen to this hotel manager slate of your company for late payments not informing customers of hotel procedures stared to bore and frustrate me as im going to stay with this grumpy man maybe you should also concentrate on paying your bills on time so that this doesn't happen again and customers not getting phone calls for payments I had t call you to call the hotel and confirm we had made that payment how is this professional but hats off to the man I spoke to like I said he was a credited to your company and if I had spoke to him from start to finish my review would have been different and by reading up on reviews off this company im not the only person who has received that the woman or women there especially the one who says she is the sales manager lets your company down and gives the feeling of a badly run company the hotel and the hotel landlady made this an awesome weekend instead of slating people for giving honest reviews and saying there rude to your staff take a step back put your self in the customers shoes have an understanding of how they must be feeling and what caused this on this occasion it was caused by awful staff that you hire and not paying your hotel bill and hotel manager calling customer direct for payment

A final note from Awesome Weekends. There was no requirement for us to pay your hotel as you were paying the balance on arrival. The deposit you paid to us served as our commission for placing this booking with the hotel on your behalf.

This should clear the matter up for you.

Tut that's a lie we only had 120 to pay on arrival you really want me to belive that 2 nights in a hotel with bed and breakfast for 4 people in Blackpool costs 120 pounds that's about 15 pounds per person the depoist we made was lot more than 120 pounds so your the booking agent and make nearly double the amount than the hotel makes for simply just booking the room when we reached the new hotel 1st thing we asked was if you had paid with it being such short notice and was informed by hotel manager you were sending rest or payment to them by bacs and the balance to pay was 120 as the last thing we wanted was to be billed for monies we had allready paid the fact you replied to my comment with such a stupid answer proves that this is badly run and you think your staff do no wrong and customers are fools seen In one of your replies to another customer that had a problem with your female employee you wrote that all your staff have qualifications having an nvq in customer service does not mean your good at customer service and the fact you will not expect any faults in your team shows that you do not own the very basic of customer service training as I'm sure slating customers not taking ownership blaming customers is not in the nvq unless you also give courses in this an you Can train an pass your own staff from that cockroah infested bedsit you run your company from that would explain everything stop comment creeping and spend your energy on trying your staff

“Stress free”

I booked my stag do around last August with Leanne and Awesomeweekends. I found them pleasant and always available to take my call, Leanne helped me gain a booth in the new popworld and things like payments were done swiftly through an online portal. The only reason why they lose a star, is that there seems to be some small print which they fail to tell you if someone in your party drops out. I was always under the impression this person would lose their deposit if they dropped out, but then you have to pay an additional 'lost deposit' charge, which made no sense at all nor was it mentioned previously. Other than this hiccup, I would highly recommend the company and Leanne was amazing! Also thanks to John for sorting out the booth. Thanks guys

Booked a two night break to Blackpool for 14 girls for hen night. Awesome weekends were just a phone call or email away with any questions I had (& booking for 14 was a few!). The staff were helpful, payments easy, price for accommodation good, happy with hotel & its location to station, pubs, winter gardens, beach etc - all in all we had a fab weekend. Would use again for large party as enables you to pay in instalments if you want to & keep track of things online.

“Great hen weekend!”

I used Awesome Weekends to book my best friends hen weekend which we had in April 2013. The team were great and organised everything and emailed with all detail updates and we stayed in The Lucena hotel in Blackpool which was fantstic. The hotel was clean the owners were so friendly and couldnt do enough for us and the breakfast was fab, just what we needed with a hangover! Would deffinately use Awesome weekends again and would go back to Lucena Hotel :-)

“Great Customer Service and true to their word!”

I booked a surprised boys weekend for my husband's birthday and was happy to find a team that really helped to put my mind at ease with regards to hotels, activities, area etc. One advisor was excellent at making suggestions and advising on everything. I found that he was very knowledgeable and friendly but most of all honest. However the other one was just as helpful and friendly too. Thank you= the boys had a fab time and some of them are asking about going back.

“One Happy Hen”

I booked my hen do through Awesome Weekends to Liverpool. There were 23 of us. we were given accomadation in the Novotel right in the centre of the city which was absolutely great!!! The hotel was lovely!! Everything we required. The beds were amazingly, I felt like i was sleeping on marshmellows!!! We had dinner at Ego. i was informed that this was only round the corner less than 5mins away from the hotel.....It was not!! We walked for 20 mins up hill in heels which i was not that impressed about this trek but did not let it ruin my evening. We arrived at the restaurant half an hour late as a result!! Once we were at the restaurant we were seated and told we only had an hour an half, luckly we had pre booked. Starters cam with no fuss or problems. Then the fire alarm went off. This continued to go off for an hour which was not the best as the girls had planned to do a question and answer game which we re unable to play due to the piecing noise. After 50 mins of indurring this awful noise we were give a complimentary drink. The mains were nice although those who had the steak thought these were quite mean portions. All in all the restaurant experience was ok but I do no think i will be rushing back. The rest of the evening ws great. I would defo use awesome weekends again

Thank you for giving us true feedback on your weekend, we are really glad you all enjoyed the hotel and the weekend in general.
Regarding the restaurant, going off Google Maps the distance between the hotel and the restaurant is 0.8 miles (4 mins in a car / taxi). We didn't realize you would be walking up a hill to get there so for that we apologize and will note it for all future groups with the same itinerary.
We obviously couldn't do anything about the fire alarm going off - that's just one of those things that could have happened anywhere but I'm happy you just got on with it and didn't let it ruin your night. Your comments towards this restaurant have been noted.

One final thing...
THANKS FOR ASKING US SINCE TO ORGANIZE THE STAG WEEKEND TOO!
We'll make sure the lads have a superb time in Blackpool.

“Cracking Stag Do in Blackpool”

Had two nights in Blackpool for a stag do, 18 of us and everyone really enjoyed it. Stayed at The Newburn hotel which was just the job, if a bit far from the tower area. Was very close to go karting which was great fun though. Cant complain at everyone getting 50 laps, and a proper competition. Other than that lots of drinking as you'd expect in Blackpool, plenty of places to go. Service from Awesome Weekends was excellent, cant be faulted for anything. Great weekend, would go again.
