Good Points: Multiband, MultiTechnology, Roam anywhere in the US and or internationally.

Bad Points: I see none except there is not a color diplay.

General comments: This phone releases you from the smaller service area that the new GSM networks are starting with, and allows you to keep informed and connected on the Next Generation neworks. This phone has been great to me and is the only one I will carry.

This phone was a huge disappointment. Software corrupts often - my address book (fewer than 100 names) has been blown away 4 times in 6 months. Already had to do warranty exchange once. AT&T tech support doesn't know what's wrong with it, but will offer a second warranty exchange; Siemens is hard-nosed and arrogant about troubleshooting problems of basic features; their only offer is to install new software (1 week wait with no replacement phone). I know 3 other people in Chicago who have th ...

I have owned this phone for 7 months with no real complaints. It has a good style to it and the reception is clear. In all of San Diego there is only one dead spot that i know of. The menu is easy to use and the games are fun and challenging. The battery life is outstanding the best i ever had, and i have owned 6 phones in the last 2 years. The tdma never works like it is designed to, but i don't need it here in San Diego. On the gsm side it never fails me. Other than that it is a good phone tha ...

I purchased a siemens s-46 so that i could have the capabilty to have digital and gsm service with the ability to make international calls. It is the only phone out there that supposedly does the things I need it to do. The first s-46 I bought wouldn't let me scroll through my address book without having a "Drive Error!". I took it back and AT &T exchanged it because it was within 30 days. It actually didn't work one day after buying it. They swapped it out with another s-46 only to have th ...

This phone broke when I dropped it from 2 feet above the ground. Nobody would cover the warrenty. It is very fragile! I have never had a phone break before.

I have had a half dozen phones of various brands through the years. Hands down this is the worst phone I have ever had. In fact I am on my third replacement (ATT replaced w/ new ones for free), and this one's acting up. Specifically, the phone will power off without warning, a "Known bug" according to tech support. Sound quality also poor -- you just can't turn the volume up high enough. Although feature rich, using those features is a huge pain. Menus are ridiculous. You simply have to g ...
