The Time Traveler's Wife was quite a spectacular movie. The tearful ending only added to its good qualities. Though it differed from the book in many ways, I think they took it in a good direction. The characters were deep, and I got attached to them quickly. The pacing (though again, different from the book) was done well, and the actors did beautiful jobs. It took me through comedy, the longing, regret, and love that the characters felt, and a deep sadness towards the end.
