    Good Points:


    Bad Points: The ' afternoon tea with cakes / shortbread on arrival ' promised on the website were not mentioned and this statement should be removed from the website if it not going to be offered.


    General comments: Inside everything is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The room wasn't particularly big but contained almost everything you could want, although we couldn ' t find the hair dryer. The bed was comfortably firm; just as at home. We liked the paintings which fit with the B&B's location in the small fishing port of Pittenweem. The breakfast was excellent; the porridge and scrambled eggs were both just as asked for and there was a really good choice of alternatives; we particularly liked the variety of fresh and dried fruit on offer.

    Pittenweem, St Abbs House B&B is a slightly pretentious name for a terraced house in a suburban street albeit in a pleasant small fishing village. Please don ' t be put off by our first impression. Good value, highly recommended.
