Good Points: Slim. But looks can be deceiving..

Bad Points: The silver paint quickly peeled off, making the phone externally look like a piece of garbage! The screen is VERY prone to scratches. These scratches damage vision of the screen. The micro-usb hands-free cable is not working any more, because the usb entrance on the phone went loose. So, i can not listen to radio any more! I searched for replacement hands free, but NO ONE, not even the Toshiba company know where i can find one (i spoke with them on the phone). The phone, although performs basic functions alright till now, has presented a number of functionality problems. At numerous occassions in shuts down by itself, for example it may happen when deleting a photo, or when trying to exist a game platform. The sim card contact list can accept only 7 characters for a name. The phone contact list, only 9 characters. These are JUST what i can come up with right now. I really wish i had chosen something from a company that specializes in mobile phones than one that specializes in refrigerators. STAY AWAY from this phone. Oh, yes, bluetooth file transfer takes about 10-20 times more time than a normal phone.

General comments: My Toshiba TS608 had a nice appearance, when i bought it. However, i was dissapointed many times, till now, from this phone. It is hard to remember ALL things that went to wrong with this phone, but i will try.

Toshiba TS608: stylish music phone
28 Sep 2006

Pros
Slim design ; call quality ; dedicated music buttons

Cons
Menu design ; 8MB of internal memory

Verdict
Overall the TS608 is a good phone -- the SMS input system is straightforward, the dedicated music buttons are a useful addition and the keys on the keypad aren't annoying small. It loses some points due to the small amount of internal memory, though, ...

Works really well. The small button next to the call button that inadvertantly connects the phone to the internet and can remain unnoticed this running up a connection bill. Got an expensive bill because of that button!

Sony Ericsson C510

Received this as an upgrade to the K800i on a 3 contract, the phone is slim and light, menu is easy to use and compared to the K800i the navigation is quicker even when using an 8Gb memory card.
The phone comes with a range of preloaded apps like facebook, youtube, Yell Maps and google maps although without a GPS the maps are a bit approximate.
On the Three contract MSN and Skype are free to use which is great for messaging but Skype voice calls rely on a good network coverage and don't...

LG KE970 Shine
12 Sep 2009

I have had this LG KE970 Shine phone for ages and its fab. the charger fits perfectly dont have to press the keys too hard at all, can see screen perfectly in the sunlight, and the screen has never cracked even after dropping down onto concrete from a fairly good hight three times. i dropped this phone in the bath and after about ten seconds managed to get it out, and slid the top screen up and left it for the night. next morning, battery was still full, and the phone worked perfectly. this...
