“Wrong lawn”

The installers were excellent however the lawn provided was not the same as the samples they had provided. The installers showed the label on the lawn roll matched the lawn type I'd requested, but I made them measure it, and it was clearly shorter and of inferior quality. They didn't argue about replacing it with the correct material, but I did have to wait a couple of days as it was out of stock! Well lazylawn turned up at 8.30am as informed by them the day before , the team was very professional in there approach to work and keeping me informed as work progressed. They started preperation of the ground as agreed in there quote no short cuts here then laid the membrane and sand on top and wackered down to a flat surface. Then the real bit the LazyLawn was laid in position and cut to size and bonded together. What a fantastic looking lawn no cutting only minor maintenance from now... (read more)

The staff that I spoke to were always very happy to help, professional and courteous. I was a little confused that the overall surface area to be covered produced a number of quotes with various costs. However, the overall experience was positive and the lawn is amazing. I had a problem with my garden when I bought my house. The entire back garden was patio and on top of that I discovered that the patio was laid on top of four inches of concrete. The easiest solution was artificial grass. I went for the self install and ordered enough lawn to cover 32 square meters. I was very impressed with the end result. We bought lazy lawn to lay at the front of our Victorian Terrace. We found it easy to cut and lay just like carpet. We have a raised flower bed which runs the full lenght of the railings and then the grass. It's really comfortable to sit on and it will be great when our grandchildren come to visit. It attracts a lot of attention from passers by, i'm not sure if they think it's real lawn but it looks great and we are really pleased with it (read more)

“Very satisfied with product and Company”

Ordred two products from this company. Only needed a very small amount of the thick top quality lawn to cover a manhole on the lawn. They were really good an located an offcut for me which worked out brilliantly. We've used it to cover the manhole and two small drain covers in our lawn that are for the rainwater harvester. It means that the lawn still looks good as it blends in really well and the kids can play safely on the grass without risk of injury if they fall where the covers are.... (read more)

It is a great improvement from a muddy lawn in winter. Lets face it with our current climate it is a great improvement from a muddy lawn in summer. It feels much better than I thought it would. It is not rough or abrasive. I installed it myself and it was quite easy for an experienced DIYer. Most of the work came in preparing the sub-base and making sure the levels were precise. I have a very small front garden (2m x 1.2m) and for years have used decorative bark, spending about £15 a year to keep it looking nice. However local cats thought this was their WC. The LazyLawn grass was delivered to me cut to the exact size I wanted (this is not so in DIY stores, it was easy to lay and looks absolutely fantastic. This is an excellent product; it arrived within 24 hours. It looks beautifull and is soft to walk on. This is my second purchase I purchased one three years ago and it still looks good after two snowy winters. The only maintainance is to brush it occassionally to remove leaves. (read more)

I put the lazy lawn in place because I have two large dogs and they are high maintenance. My work load now is minimal because although it is quite costly, once in place maintenance is low, you must get the base right don't cut corners. In the winter months and rain, life is much easier and cleaner. I would also say if you have big dogs they may try to pull up at the edge, so to solve this issue once we secured the edge we laid rocks around it to weigh it down, we have never had a problem. We... I purchased this "grass" as i had a small part of my patio that looked plain i laid this on top of my patio stones with no problems,i just unrolled and trimed to size, and hey pressto instant grass that looks great, it had a shine on the surface ( a bit to much) but after being down for a while and getting weathered it now looks even better but the best bit is No more cutting the lawn i would recomend this to anybody who has a very busy life style or doesn't have time to do gardening. Intially we approached your company for samples for ideas for a small display. But on receiving the samples we found a use for the grass for flooring underneath our displays. This was a last minute idea but proved to be very successful. The customer service I received on the intial call for purchasing was spot on. Some of my neighbours have fitted drab bricks or slabs to replace their front gardens on their properties, losing the character of the property in my opinion. I am delighted with my LazyLawn. It was delivered when stated and in perfect condition. My sons cut and layed it in my back garden and they assured me it was as easy as laying a carpet. It adds lovely colour to my garden in an area where it would have been impossible to have real grass as due to it's shape a lawn mower would not have fitted in to cut it. Really pleased with this products finish, my husband fitted it, said it was really easy, looks great! Had to ring Lazylawn offices for some advice and found them really helpful. I have used Lazylawn Architect turf for a couple of years, and as a garden designer have reccommended it and specified it to many of my clients (who all love it too). I have it in my own garden and would never go back to real grass in a small urban courtyard. I'm very happy with the quality and appearance of the product (Wonder Yarn 36mm). It really does look just like the real thing. The backing seems to be really good qality too and looks like it should last a lifetime. It lays nice and flat with no rippling even straight off the roll. The natual lay of the pile even hide the backing if you lay to a flush joint. The only negative point (hence the 4 stars) was that their courier company let them down on delivery.
