    Good Points: Wonderful beach - 8km long!
    Lovely people - all the locals were very welcoming.
    Lovely weather, not too hot with the breeze coming off the Atlantic.
    Great for families.


    Bad Points: Not all shops open out of season.
    The breeze can be quite powerful some days so you do end up getting wind-blasted on the beach in some months.


    General comments: We recently visited La Barrosa with its fantastic 8km long golden beach. What a fantastic resort ! Located only a 35 minute drive from Jerez airport and also easily accessible from Seville & Gibraltar it is in a great location. This is a proper Spanish resort where people from Seville come to in the Summer to get away from the city heat - they know a good thing when they see it :-)

    We booked a private rental through www.costa-luz-holiday.com and found the apartment really lovely and easily accessible to the beach.
