Had a very nice meal the other week. Went with the kids and in-laws. Service was attentive and the menu was pretty large for a gastropub. Shame they don't do chips on a Sunday! The kids had sausages and vegetables. It wasn't on the menu buy they just seem to cater for kids. Brilliant. My favourite bit was the desert with some salted ice cream. Never tried it before and thought it was lovely. I believe he chef trained in London with Gary Rhodes and worked in some top notch places before... (read more)

The Fox and Hounds Pub, Hunsdon has a nice ambience and setting, let down by mediocre food. Poor choice of menu, poor service (over an hour between starter and main), prices are twice what they should be for the experience - expensive. (read more)
