I was really disappointed in this product especially after all this media hype. It does contain orlistat but the overall it is too subtle to get any results, you'll have to stick to for lifetime to get results.. (read more)

Hoping that just consuming Alli would be fool hardy, you also need to combine it with regular exercise or else it won't work. the effects also take time to show, it would be atleast a month before you start losing weight. I have been using alli for 3 months now and have been able to shed close to 4 pounds of weight. One of my friends too has taken the pill and he has been able to achieve the figure of 6 pounds. I HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED THE HIGHER DOES OF ALLI WHICH IS DOUBLE STRENGTH OF THE ONE YOU CAN BUY OVER THE COUNTER.BECAUSE OF AN UNDERACTIVE THYROID I FIND IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOSE WEIGHT .AFTER 2 MONTHS OF TAKING IT I HAVE LOST 10LBS!!! Hi. I will be starting to take my pills from next week...
There are loads of reviews & helpful info on the websites.. But I thot of consulting a doc before I start these tablets.. I feel it is always good to ask a professional when it comes to health..

I bought this from a pharmacist in the summer, but could not even last a week on it. I had very unpleasant side-effects, not like the common ones described. I felt ill, I was constipated and generally very uncomfortable. I had no energy and felt extremely tired on it. I did lose some weight as I completely lost my appetite, but it did such a number on my intestines that I had to stop and would never think the increased weight loss was worth the distress. Have been on Alli now for about 8 weeks. Was a little worried at first when I first saw the side effects on going to the loo - dayglo orange! - but do feel it has given my low fat diet a boost. I also feel that they lift your mood and give you more energy; so much so that I don't take one after lunch now because I was awake half the night! (read more)

Firstly, this Alli Weight Loss product is only available through a pharmacy to overweight people (bmi over 25). The reason this product is contolled like this is because there is clinical evidence that this drug works. In fact it is a lower dose of orlistat - a drug which is available on prescription only for the obese. All very encouraging.
