I don't see the benefit of using bookit.com. I didn't save any money. The hotel rates weren't discounted. and I paid $5-$10 more for a CityPass than I would have buying directly from the vendor. We have used Bookit multiple times over 2 or 3 years. They have great deals but anything other than the flight and the Hotel is hit or miss. We have had some great trips but some issues here and there come along about 50% of the time. I think they go with some unreliable vendors in certain cases. I would still recommend them as an agent and search engine, but do not include the extras that are offered without really thinking about it. Ground transportation, excursions, etc… Read Full Review

“Hotel check in”

I was very disappointed and mad when I got to the hotel in Ocho Rios because I prepaid my hotel and when I got there the did not have my reservation even though I had a copy of the confirmation they had to run my credit card and put a hold for one night until they got it sorted out the next day. The receptionist was quite nice and accommodating. There must have been a breakdown between Bookit.Com and the Room booking agent. “One Main Problem”

Overall the experience was fine however when I needed to cancel online it was difficult! I had to call and get a person to actually cancel. The online link did not function which is frustrating and even though I could not access there is the caution that you may be charged $25 if a customer service person has to assist you. They did not assess a fee this time but the cancellation process needs to be easier and more clear!! I would recommend if this is fixed… Read Full Review

“Confusing advertising”

I booked a room at the Vdara and when I selected my room it was titled city suite. It also stated this room was 700 sq Ft. Once i paid for the room my reciept said Deluxe View Suite which is the smallest suite at only 500 sq ft. The pictures of the room i reserved was not what I recieved. When I called they said it would cost $140.00 along with a processing free of $19.95 in order to get the room the site advertised. Be carefull who you speak with. I was told one price on a tues by bookit and when I actually called to book I was told $50 more and that was the best price he could give me, after looking on line I found the same thing for $30 cheaper. Then, our vigchers/ confirmation email never came through. “Perfect for family”

Is better than I was expected it . The room clean and - like they promise- can sleep for 8 people . Only the corridor need to clean or maybe coat it with different color or something. “Disjointed Hotel Reservation Process”

Utilized bookit.com for a two night hotel stay in LA. When I arrived at the hotel they couldn't find my reservation though I had my info on my phone. “Could be better”

Went to book my flight and hotel through bookit.com and split the charges onto 2 credit cards. I incorrectly entered in some information wrong on the first card and when I went back to fix it the 2nd card had been approved. Well I went to resubmit and they declined the second card.
