My first and last time ever using them. My email was bombarded with Bookit information after I booked. They split my payment into three charges. On the second payment , my expiration date expired, the only way I found out their was 25.00 charge on my card. When I called they said they did not have my email. We have been loyal bookit.com customers for years, booking almost all of our holidays from there at least 3 major trips a year. In the past we have found them a solid source with good customer service. “Brow beaten and called a liar for only $19.95!”

Just cancelled a night in Cozumel. Got a phone call from someone with a foreign accent, a bad attitude, and a hearing problem. After being brow beaten for 5 minutes with an apology, for MY misunderstanding, I could see that this was going nowhere FAST. Just another waste of time! Watch out for jumpy web pages! Okay so we booked a 7 day vacation, 3 days in vegas, 4 days in los angeles, we had driven from canada. So we stayed at excalibur all fine, but come our last night in vegas we get a phone call stating our reservation was NOT made in LA and they could not find any other hotels "Around our price". I used bookit.com in the past and was happy. This month I was planning a get away for my fathers 75th Birthday. There were great rates on Bookit.com. I went to book the rooms online. After putting in my credit card info there was an error message to call Bookit. When I called they tried to get me the rooms and after 3 hours on the phone they told me a 3rd party company for Marriott was changing the price and the price I wanted was not longer available. Very misleading. They lie to you on the phone to get you to book with them. Then the dates are unavail and they blame it on the cruise line not opening up reservations to this company. This site is a nightmare to use. You think you are booking it with Bookit.com, but after booking a shopping/wine tasting tour with their buy one/get one package for 4 people, I received vouchers for only 2 people. I tried to deal with this for 4 days! You get the complete runaround, being told you have to call their other division, Destination Travel. I had plans for the 7, 8,9,10,11 of July but hurricane Arthur came thru on 4th. This brought on rain for the rest of week with lighting according to weather reports. BEWARE when using this site. I booked a flight and hotel for a trip to New York. Received the confirmation for both the hotel and the flight. I Book a all inclusive trip to Cabo, I was told it was a four star Hotel, Royal Decameron what a dive. Beds Hard as a rock , Food terrible. Drinks water down. I'm not sure you understand and your apology is addressed to potential victims that you may be losing due the terrible experience I listed on my review. I emailed and called and the assistance was limited to paying more no matter what.
I read the terms and conditions of the company and agree with them but didn't expect the trick you use to reset the booking dates and make it seem like I made a mistake and to correct it I have to pay more.
The other thing I forgot to mention is that the confirmation I received shows payment made but no reservation dates on it.
The only time I've seen the reservation dates was after I made the payment online it came briefly and surprised me.

Booked a trip to Costa Rica. They advertise "Free Shuttle." Free from the airport that doesnt apply to your trip. Now when we land, We have to do a 5 hour trip to get to the hotel. Bookit made me (and my friend who booked separate ut thought the same as me)feel like we were stupid for not knowing. I dont know anything about Costa Rica but I assumed you would fly into the airport near the resort (Wrong).
