I tried booking via Trivago and it gave me an error code...Oops! An error has occurred Please call so an agent can help get your trip back on track  Error Reference Number: ###########. I called the # and no one has answered you cannot hit any other prompts and there is no wait time given. I used book it to book our 10 staff office to Jamaica. They took over 2 hours to book our reservations. They never told you that they don't book seat numbers. You have to call the airline to book your own. If the regular price seats are not available, you have to pay an upgrade for each seat assignments. Otherwise they give you a random seat number when you arrive at the gate. They booked 9 people on American, and for some unknown booked 1 through US airways. “Bookit Misrepresented the Hotel I Booked”

I booked my hotel, car and airlines with Bookit. When I arrived at our destination, it was not a resort, but a residential condominium with no office on location. I called Bookit and they found me another hotel at the Bilmar (which was wonderful). I was charged $285.61 to change hotels. I also bought travel insurance with Bookit. I booked a 1 day rental in my home town of Naples,Fl. Once I got there I was informed that I had booked for the following month.(WRONG) So I went ahead and paid cash and figured to just cancel at a later date with no penalty. WRONG AGAIN! The hotel is the old Flagship. Was not oceanfront as advertised. Had bugs. They charged me for my room two times and wouldn't give the charge back till after noon the next day. “They messed up my honeymoon reservations!!!”

bookit.com prices are misleading. They advertise rates for one person or do not clarify there are extra charges. I booked my Cancun honeymoon entirely with them. First, when I went to pick up the car we rented, their $10 p/day rate became $50 because of the insurance. Then, at the hotel, they only had a reservation for one, even when I stated it was my honeymoon. So I had to spend $225 more. They are definitely dodgy. I cancelled a booking nearly 6 months ago and after a while they did refund the deposit, however they have just commenced attempting to take more money out of my account. They have made at least 10 attempts to get money out in the last few days. I will be reporting them. Don't go near them.

Made a reservation with bookit for caesars palace. When I needed to make changes to reservation ( more friends coming with me) I was told I needed to cancel and make a new reservation. My first and last time ever using them. My email was bombarded with Bookit information after I booked. They split my payment into three charges. On the second payment , my expiration date expired, the only way I found out their was 25.00 charge on my card. When I called they said they did not have my email. Just cancelled a night in Cozumel. Got a phone call from someone with a foreign accent, a bad attitude, and a hearing problem. After being brow beaten for 5 minutes with an apology, for MY misunderstanding, I could see that this was going nowhere FAST. Just another waste of time! Watch out for jumpy web pages! Okay so we booked a 7 day vacation, 3 days in vegas, 4 days in los angeles, we had driven from canada.
