the site is well arranged and concise. it narrows the amenities down to a science. the pricing is reasonable and the cancellation fees are clearly disclosed. the only thing i didn't like about the site is the fact that the pictures are not in a slideshow format. i had to click on each picture individually to see them. otherwise everything else was fine. The prices seem cheap but there at just as many hidden fees. None of which are refundable. Can you say rip off?!?! The place I booked was also infested with bed bugs. Their service is horrid. I tried to modify my reservation on line, all I needed to do was change my stay from 5 days to 1. Same hotel, just arriving one day later. The web site gave me an error. I had to call. I spend 45 minutes on the phone while they made the change....ugg. I was emailed a new confirmation number for one of my reservations, the second never arrived. Book it are so bad they have put me off booking hotels on line. I made a booking yesterday for a hotel and paid by credit card. I received a confirmation and when we turned up to the hotel there was no record of the booking. We couldn't go else where as we had already paid. I had to wait an hour to get into a room while the hotel waited 50 mins to get through on the phone to Bookit. After waiting more than half an hour in the booking line at the hotel we were then told we had no resveration. Our confirmation number was booked under another name. We then had to wait an additional hour while the hotel had to discuss the issue with your company to be finally sorted. I have always booked with Expedia and had no issues and after this issue I will no longer use you and return to them. I am very disapointed with the service you supply. (read more)

We booked a vacation (at a great price)and some family matters came up we needed to cancel the trip. I tried to log in at using my e-mail address they send mail and adds to me and the password they issued and I do not exist. They are forcing me to cancel by phone and charging an additional $25.00 plus $19.99 normal cancelation fee. I asked for 3 days for assistance and was ignored. Would not recommend using this site for booking. You do not see the final cost of the hotel booking until you've paid which may include additional hidden costs. You see your final bill only after you've paid and at this point your payment is not refundable. The main point for them is to sell you a trip insurance so only in that case you can make some changes. It was a pretty good deal, but after going on trip adviser I checked the ratings on the hotel and they were good, but they recommended I upgrade my hotel to preferred status with bookit. I booked a 3-star "mystery hotel" that was supposed to be 1 block from Disneyland. Would have been happy with any 3-star hotel if it had met the criteria of the advertisement. Do not believe there website. I booked a last minute deal for the Deauville Hotel in Miami Beach, Fl. When I arrived at the hotel to check-in some 5 hours after I booked online, the hotel did not have my paper work or my reservation. The older man at the front desk told me there was no room and that I had to leave.
