The hotel is the old Flagship. Was not oceanfront as advertised. Had bugs. They charged me for my room two times and wouldn't give the charge back till after noon the next day. “They messed up my honeymoon reservations!!!”

bookit.com prices are misleading. They advertise rates for one person or do not clarify there are extra charges. I booked my Cancun honeymoon entirely with them. First, when I went to pick up the car we rented, their $10 p/day rate became $50 because of the insurance. Then, at the hotel, they only had a reservation for one, even when I stated it was my honeymoon. So I had to spend $225 more. I booked a vacation to New Orleans for three people. After booking, I was given an error number and explained that my flight went through but my hotel was no longer available. I called the costumer service agent and was told that it was because my credit card wasn't approved and the website only took out part of the total for the airfare. They are definitely dodgy. I cancelled a booking nearly 6 months ago and after a while they did refund the deposit, however they have just commenced attempting to take more money out of my account. They have made at least 10 attempts to get money out in the last few days. I will be reporting them. Don't go near them.

I use Bookit.com two to three times a year for vacation trips. They are very helpful and send useful information. Bookit.com is the best, I used them when planning quick last minute vacations and or long vacation trips. They have great prices. Customers services representatives are awesome with booking trips and fixing mistakes when booking online. I booked a trip to Cancun but ended up in Riviera Maya over an he away from Cancun. Bookit.com changed my reservation without my knowledge. When I got to the resort they chose which was Bel Air a disgusting place i spoke to other guest who were in the same situation as I was. Bad Bad Bad! Customer service was terrible and the wait time to speak to anyone was very long. Made a reservation with bookit for caesars palace. When I needed to make changes to reservation ( more friends coming with me) I was told I needed to cancel and make a new reservation. However it would cost 100% of 1 night plus an additional 19.99, to cancel. That's bull carp. Hotel has free cancellation policy up until 3 days before reservation. My first and last time ever using them. My email was bombarded with Bookit information after I booked. They split my payment into three charges. On the second payment , my expiration date expired, the only way I found out their was 25.00 charge on my card. When I called they said they did not have my email. Just cancelled a night in Cozumel. Got a phone call from someone with a foreign accent, a bad attitude, and a hearing problem. After being brow beaten for 5 minutes with an apology, for MY misunderstanding, I could see that this was going nowhere FAST. Just another waste of time! Watch out for jumpy web pages! Okay so we booked a 7 day vacation, 3 days in vegas, 4 days in los angeles, we had driven from canada. This site is a nightmare to use. You think you are booking it with Bookit.com, but after booking a shopping/wine tasting tour with their buy one/get one package for 4 people, I received vouchers for only 2 people. I tried to deal with this for 4 days! You get the complete runaround, being told you have to call their other division, Destination Travel.
