I rarely leave feedbacks online, but this one I just have to make one. I booked our disney vacation through bookit.com because they are $10-15 cheaper. We are staying 6 nights so that $10 saves me a lot. Then our itinerary changed, we wanted to stay 1 day longer.. and since bookit does not offer a competitive price, I cancelled my reservation 3 days prior to our arrival. Hotel Nikko was perfect for our first trip to San Francisco. Within a couple of easy blocks from Union Square, Cable car turnaround, subway station and lots of shopping. We used bookit to get hotel reservations at Nags Head Beach. The day before we left we were notified by email that the hotel had oversold and we were getting bumped. But, low and behold they had another hotel for us. Cost was almost twice the other hotel and was inland in Manteo, not even close to the beach. I booked a reservations at WestGate hotel Orlando FL last night through Book It and was very disappointed on the services I got from 2 different agents that assist me. The first agent helped me booked my reservation but was not knowledgeable about their policy. I tried calling Bookit.com's phone number several times and selected the call back option instead of waiting 16 minutes for the next available operator. They never called me back. I couldn't access the members online with my iPhone, so therefore I couldn't cancel my reservation. I got stuck paying $175 for a room I couldn't use. Made reservations at 3 pm on Wednesday with an accepted 12 hour free cancellation period. Once we decided to cancel the phone lines were busy and we elected to go on the call back (34 min). After 60 minutes, no call back. Called the toll free line again and now the wait time is over 100 minutes. If this is normal mode of operation, I'll never book with bookit again. Still waiting for call back to avoid cancellation fee. (read more)

I use Bookit.com for all my travel. I have used it for quite some time now, however, I just booked a hotel for a July vacation using Bill Me Later with the cash back option. Once the transaction posted to my account I noticed that there was no cash back in the system. I know it's long, but please read so you don't have the same terrible experience we did! If I could put 0 stars, that would have been my selection. Not only did Bookit.com initially book me twice for the same hotel stay during the same dates with two different confirmation numbers, they also charged me TWICE! After four days of calling trying to get a hold of someone to fix the slight mix up, I gave up calling. Nobody EVER answers the phone, it's all automated and then you get put on hold... (read more)
