Ordered a bed on Friday for a Tuesday deliver. No communication. No bed. Called to say there had been a mix up they would contact me the following morning with an update. No call. Contacted them again to be told the bed would be delivered the following Monday. The bed was required urgently so have been massively let down and have now cancelled my order - hopefully their refund policy is better than their sales/delivery policy.

Ordered a black bed online. Just before we unpacked it we noticed that the boxes stated 'brown bed'. I telephoned Bedroom World and was told that i must have used the wrong dropdown on the website and ordered the brown bed by mistake although our confirmation clearly showed that we'd ordered a black one. We were told that they would have to collect the brown bed the next day (Friday) then refund us and order the black bed which they could only deliver on the Saturday. By mid afternoon on the Friday no-one had collected the brown bed, I telephoned and was told ey would definitely collect the bed today. I checked that we definitely had the black bed ordered for Saturday and was told yes. By 6pm Friday still no collection. I telephoned again and was told that they don't deliver/collect in our area on Fridays! They confirmed they would collect on the Saturday instead. Again i checked that we definitely had the black bed ordered and was told no another brown bed had been ordered !!! They have now confirmed that they can stop the delivery of the 2nd brown bed, collect the 1st brown bed tomorrow and the earliest they can deliver the black bed is next Tuesday!! Lets see what will happen. Not happy!

Ordered a bed for 48 fast delivery???? bed still not delivered after 2 weeks. Customer services rubbish, passing the buck from one department to another when all on the same floor. Managers too busy to speak to customers. Order cancelled without our request and said we had requested. Total shambles, would urge everyone to stay away from this company

I am still waiting for half of my order which I paid for last December. I ordered a futon. The wood frame and arms have arrived but not the mattress. I have made endless phone calls and sent several emails and been fobbed off again and again with excuse after excuse. Finally ten days ago I received a email informing me that my mattress had been despatched. Today I rang (yet again) only to be told that it hadn't been despatched at all and that that had been a lie and so I am still waiting. This is disgraceful. I would urge anyone to take your custom elsewhere. I have never been informed about where my order is at any time and the only way I have found anything out is by constant phone calls which have proved to be useless. I am thoroughly fed up and extremely disappointed by this total lack of customer care.

I ordered a Super King Size Bed Frame in January 2018, the divan bed in the picture had two drawers, one on either side when I received it the two drawers are on the same side so I can't use one of them because my wardrobe is in the way. Then I noticed the metal tags were too small to join the bed together. Thats when I found out they had sent me two single beds. I have sent numerous emails and they are ignoring me. I am so unhappy and stressed out with this problem and not getting anywhere.

Bed delivered broken when I called for a replacement I organised another Saturday delivery. They didn’t arrange this and it turned up on a Wednesday - fortunately I was able to arrange at last minute a day working from home. But when it arrived they refused to take the broken one away saying that a collection hadn’t been arranged. Have had to organise another Saturday for them to come and pick it up (they refused to pick it up at a more specific time than ‘anytime between 7am and 6pm). Let’s see if that will happen...

I had already placed my order before I read any of these reviews therefore I was a little concerned that I was going to some issues with this company, however there was no need to be worried at all. The only slight issue was that I hadn't received an email confirmation at the time I placed my order so I contacted customer services the next day who advised my order has been received and was due to be delivered on Sat as requested. When I called I got through to customer services within minutes and the lady I spoke to was very helpful, she even gave me my consignment number then once my order despatched I received an email with my order confirmation and regular updates on delivery status. I live on the second floor with no lift access and the delivery guys were great, they took my 3 larges boxes right to my flat door. Overall I got a great price and service from this company.

Even before potentially buying, this company have left a nasty taste in my mouth. A website full of glitches (postcode not recognised, no delivery options drop-down etc.) .... and as for contacting them? I'm 60 and don't think I'll live long enough to see someone pick up their customer "service" helpline phone, and the phone option was only because badroomworld haven't seen fit to answer 2 messages sent to them via their own website over the past 4 weeks. There are plenty of other bed/mattress online vendors out there offering far better customer service via a far better website in a far more organised manner - do yourselves a favour and don't waste your time, effort, energy, patience and hard-earned cash on this execrable so-called "company" - I genuinely thought that spivs and wideboys were a throwback to a bygone age ...... but good to see badroomworld doing their corporate bit for nostalgia!

I was promised 48 hr delivery, it never arrived. They never processed the order but failed to let me know. Tried to order again but after being on the phone for ages, transferred 3 times and promised they wouldn't charge me for the delivery, to 'apologise' but in the end.. the last representative told me that nobody could give discounts so he'd charge me the whole price and I'd had to wait again. What an unprofessional company! Owners need to upgrade it to this century's standards. Don't buy from this company. One star because I got a refund ( I think).

I recently received a single divan with 2 drawers, on arrival all the packaging was in good order however when it was unpacked the drawers were a pile of rubble in the bottom of the divan, all but one of the joints had broken, in addition there were 5 castors when 6 are required. Despite 2 emails to the company via their site if Have not yet had any reply (3 weeks). This is a shame as the bed appears to be generally OK.

Do not order anything from this company ordered bedframe and mattress and was told it would be ten days so the two items would be sent together waited all day for delivery only the frame came.rang dunelm as you can not get through to this company by phone or email(waste of time) told mattress would be coming at a later date another day of work for me.do not buy from them

Where to start? Delivered damaged goods, dont answer phones, didnt respond to emails, did nothing. Then when they did respond, they expected me to re-submit my problem because they have changed their systems and are no longer responding to problems submitted on the old system. Seriously, spend a few pounds more to avoid dealing with these people. Its just not worth it. 6 weeks now, and getting absolutely nowhere and £360 down.

My bed arrived damaged. I rang customer services on 3 separate occasions, which went straight to being on hold, and after 20-30 minutes ON EACH CALL, my call was still not answered. The only way you can speak to someone is if you call the sales team. We then arranged for a replacement, and again I am in radio silence as to what is happening, and when the replacement will arrive. The emails from customer services don't have a telephone number. Probably due to avoiding all complaints. I will NOT be buying from them again, and would not recommend them to anyone.

I first ordered a divan bed with two drawers on the 20th September specifying a delivery date on the 30Th a Saturday), giving 9 working days. On the morning of the 30th, I got a text message saying that they would be unable to deliver the bed that day but I would be contacted about new arrangements. Of course NOBODY bothered to contact me. I attempted to contact Bedroom world via their own feedback page and again received no response. I eventually phoned them and after spending over an hour on the phone listening to the most excruciating muzak, eventually got through to someone who promised that the bed would arrive on Saturday 7th (fortunately I had nothing planned for that day). The bed arrived on the 7th. However when I removed the packaging, although the structure of the bed was OK, both drawers were smashed. The front of one drawer had fallen off and the front corner of the drawer was smashed – it looked like the drawer has been dropped before being inserted into the bed. The front of the other drawer was also not secured properly to the body of the drawer. I have to say that although the bed seemed sound enough, the workmanship of the drawers was appalling. There was no damage to the packaging, so it seems likely that the damage was done before packing in the factory, by someone who then put the damaged drawers into the bed, thinking “Not my problem”. I contacted Bedroom World again via their website to report the damage. I had 15 photographs but their website only allowed me to attach 3 to the complaint – TOTALLY INADEQUATE. You can guess what happened – IGNORED AGAIN! Eventually I contacted them again asking them to take the bed back. That suddenly spurred them into action. 27 days after I ordered the item, and a week after I had complained, I finally got an e-mail asking for photographs (which I had already supplied). Eventually they agreed to take the bed back (another Saturday ruined by having to wait in, days of my life I am never going to get back) and I eventually got my payment refunded. It should be pointed out that I had been sleeping on the floor like an animal for four weeks. Then I did what I should have done in the first place – went to a local shop, who charged virtually the same price,(60p difference) and delivered a much better made bed ON TIME. To sum up, Bedroom World – quality of product APPALLING, customer service APPALLING, responsiveness APPALLING. DO NOT USE.

DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! I'm kicking myself that I didn't read the reviews (all appalling) for this company. I don't actually think they are a company. Your money is taken immediately but your order will never arrive and you will never be able to speak to a customer service representative. I have emailed to ask for my money back but after reading these reviews i'm not going to hold my breath. How can operations like this be closed down for good?!

We ordered a mattress for next day delivery, received confirmation of our order and a text to advise delivery would be made on the agreed date between 8am and 6pm. Having stayed in well enough not the afternoon we rang the courier firm to see if they had a more accurate timescale for delivery. The delivery firm advised that our order wasn’t on the delivered very schedule. When we finally got through to customer service on the 3rd attempt after 30+ minutes waiting on each call we were told the item was out of stock which was why it hadn’t made it onto the delivery van. Another empty promise from customer service to say they would get try and get the item out for delivery today and would email to confirm. An email received to say that the item is with the courier but they can’t reach the courier firm! Complete contradiction in the space of 8 hours and we are left with no mattress and a wasted day’s leave!!

My son ordered a bed frame from this diabolical company, Bedroom World. Some of it was delivered nearly two weeks ago. As soon as he realised he was missing a major part of the bed frame he tried contacting the company. He was on the phone for 46 minutes and then was cut off, so tried again and again, each time with the same result. Even tried calling the order line but as soon as he mentioned a problem with his order they cut him off. We have both sent several emails, each time getting an automatic response to say they were busy but will respond within 72 hours. Which is a complete joke as no one has been in touch. We will now be contacting trading standards and my Son will be contacting his bank for a refund via Visa. Hope someone takes legal action against this company. Shouldn't be allowed to continue trading! Wouldn't even give one star but no stars wasn't an option!

Ordered a wooden bed for our grandaughter, the delivery went fine, but when we put it together 4 of the bolts would not screw into the locking nuts. Emailed customer service and received a auto response saying to allow 72 hours for a response. 6 days later and no response, so after much searching I found the telephone number, when I got through I was told I was fourth in the queue, an hour later I was next to be answered, an hour later and I was still waiting and gave up. Another follow up email and 4 days later I have still received no response.

I really wish I had looked at independant review sites before I ordered some beds from this so called company (BedroomWorld) because if I had, they would never have recieved my order. They promise 48 hour delivery but in my case 7 weeks went by before they arrived. In all this time I recieved very little in the way of communication and to add insult to injury, some of the assembly bolts were wrong and it was like trying to pull teeth to get replacements. In the end we ordered some online. Please be warned not to use this company however tempted you are with the beds on offer as you will be put through torture...BEWARE!
