I bought a single divan base and paid for special delivery as i could only accept the bed on a friday. I tracked progress of bed and discovered the bed was not going to be delivered as promised. i contacted courier and they told me bed was not scheduled to be delivered till following monday. Ordered bed for next day delivery. 3 days later no delivery so i called them and there was no response from the team at all even after 15mins! E-mailed them to complain and got a computer generated e-mail saying please give us 72 hrs to respond. On the 18th of June I ordered this bed frame and a mattress as a present for my sister. She works in a hospital and booked the delivery date off work so that she could be at home. The bed frame arrived but the mattress failed to arrive, we then find out that separate couriers were used for the two products, and that a quality issue had been identified with the mattress so it hadn't been delivered. it was not possible to make my purchase on line as the system would not go to the point of giving a delivery date. I therefore contacted the company by phone and was assured my order would be delivered within 48 hours. Order states next day delivery I ordered two beds a mattress and a headboard only the headboard delivered next day. Ordered bunk bed and two mattresses. Told at least two month wait which was fine but a couple of weeks later had an e mail around six at night saying delivery the following day which was no good. I ordered a bed and mattress bundle for £298.98 to be delivered next day as we were moving in to our first house and needed it ASAP. It didn't turn up.. 2days later ottoman frame arrives damaged we were forced to keep the mattress as had nothing else to sleep on. Emailed and phoned them arranged for a pick up and redelivery. Shocking service. The centre rail for the bed frame was 4" too small, mistakes happen so not too bothered. I logged this online the next day and was told a replacement had been arranged. I'm having exactly the same problems. The bed has come badly damaged and they are offering me a £20 partial refund which i think is a joke when 70% of the bed is damaged.

It seems that the real problem is that many companies are using the cheapest possible delivery/courier services. I've had untold trouble with deliveries via DPD (separate issue). I don't mind paying a bit more to receive goods in new condition. The hassle and inconvenience of arranging redelivery is untold. I suspect this is why they continue to use them, because the focus is on sales and the hassle and cost to the customer to go through with redelivery means that few actually go through with it and there's little impact on these companies. The only way this will change is if customers speak out about it.

I was looking to replace all 3 of our family beds. Found bedroomworld online, had great reviews. Ha, what a joke! Think they made them up themselves, can't seem to find how to get on Feefo, funny that. In summary; beds didn't come on set day, bits of the order came on 5 separate deliveries, wasted 2 days off work, spent hours phoning & emailing them and their couriers (who were equally incompetent), "service" team constantly fobbed me off with pathetic excuses, including blaming me for living… Read Full Review
