“Double charged Three day trip”

Recent trip from STX to SJU was delayed and we missed our connecting flight on Air Europa (not Air Europa's fault). We had already purchased tickets from SJU on AE to Gran Canaria for $1300. The next flight on AE was not till 3 days later. We were able to get to Punta Cana the next day and then at an additional cost of $1200 fly to Madrid. “Delayed flight. delayed baggage”

Flew with aireuropa. Paid £60 for an extra suitcase. Flight to Miami was ok. Had entertainment but was not great. Only could watch one film that I knew. Crew assumed that I was American so I was never given a declaration card till i asked. Majority of flight was spoken in Spanish. On way back flight was delayed by two hours in Miami airport. “My experience was good ”

Flew back to UK from Buenos Aires with Air Europa. Originally had a return Business Class ticket with BA. Had to return early. No Business Class seats available on earlier BA flight. BA wanted to charge me via my tour operator over £1000 to downgrade me to Economy. Can you believe that?!!! Also no water on outbound BA flight, had to flush toilet with bottled water. “Air Europa - first time flyer”

I was initially very worried about my upcoming trip with Air Europa as the reviews I had read were all very bad or mentioned the fact that the flights were often late or baggage was lost! I was traveling on flight UX0075 from Madrid to Lima at 2355 on 26th December 2013. when I arrived at Madrid from London Gatwick the TV screens said the flight was delayed 2 hours. I went again to check the progress of the flight while waiting in the departure lounge. The flight was then moved to 0300 and then 0500. “LIES, BAD TREATMENT, AND SHAME IN VALENCIA”

Border police explained this was false; they are just cheating and saving money. BAD TREATMENT. “AirEuropa is deja vu of the WORST moment in the 90s...”

VERY child UNFRIENDLY The staff has that blunt Iberia attitude that made Iberia a redundant airline. Long haul charging 3 euros for a bad quality headset(give me a break PLEASE) The foodd on Long Haul (Buenos Aires to Madrid and vs) was pathetic. “Cheap and cheerful Air Europa”

I was dreading this flight as many of the reviews I had read were poor. We have flown with Virgin, Air Frand and Iberia to cuba and I can honestly say this airline was great value for money. Virgin fly direct to havana so if you want to pay £400 more for the return fligh and get better in flight entertainment, food and get their quicker then that's fine. “Bad airline, bad service, fascistic staff and worse”

From the first minutes on board, when the pilot began to back away from the gate even while passengers were still making their way to their seats, this airline was clearly going to be trouble. “Overpriced airline that acts like a low cost. ”

I have flown twice with AirEuropa and both times it was terrible. They have all these fancy adverts touting "the newst fleet in Europe" but in two different routes the planes were very old with miserable on board entertainment.BA, KLM, Iberia offer much better service and facilities, which are really needed for long haul flights. The food as terrible, service surly, and to add insult to injure, the flights were always delayed. If I wanted this level of service I'd rather fly a low cost airline… Read Full Review

“Poor customer service”

We had a London-Madrid flight with a connection to Caracas on Friday 24/08. Arriving at London Airport, Air Europa staff informed us that the flight was delayed and they had no additional information. Hours later they inform us that our connection flights will wait for us in Madrid. Arriving at Madrid, Air Europa informed us to run to the door and on arrival we were informed that they did not know they had to wait and that we were never on the waiting list which was already full. “Not a good airline”

No individual TV screen and some of the hanging ones didn't work. Flight attendants were not around and not responsive. The landing was very bumpy and scary. It was cheaper than other airlines but not worth the difference. I'll pay a little more next time… Read Full Review
