7 hour delay on Air Europa JFK/Madrid 9:30pm outbound flight. We found out after 2 hour wait on check in line, greeted by "Where do you live?" with respect to whether they would put us up at airport hotel or send us home. Told plane would leave at 4am (flights can't take off from JFK until 5am). Finally airborne at 5:30am. Mediocre food didn't come until after staff prowled the aisles with stupid duty free cart (people buying $6 candybars so they'd have something to eat). Cramped seating arrangements, buy a headset (have to have a special two-prong model on the plane we were on). Flight staff generally nice, both ways. Garbled English announcements (why bother?) Counter staff for Madrid staff better, but why no advance check in/seat selection available? I swear I got bed bug bites on the plane on the way back to NYC. Baggage well handled. Fare was good price, but if it were much more, would prefer to fly a more experienced, customer service oriented airline. NYC operation is amateurish at present.

I travelled with Air Europa with my son. On the way back the airline changed our tickets without our knowledge and you can guess the surprise as we arrived at the airport and we were told that we were schedule to leave from somewhere else and to make thing worst it was already late to get to the designated airport.

The staff at the airport were very helpful and manage to get us (my son and I) on the same flight schedule the next day.

We had no problems at the departure, but upon arrival at Bar ...

LGW-Madrid, Madrid-LasPalmas and then back. Good quality flight as for cheap airlines Air Europa. I couldn't use my mobile in a flight-safe mode (it's not emitting any signal and lots of other people used their laptops!!!!!). On a way back when check-in we had a little problem as lady in a counter have no idea that within EEA (European Economic Area) you can travel on ID cards if you are citizen of one of twenty something European countries. I was asked for passport and as I never used passport ...

Flew Air France manchester to Paris and then Air Europa to Malaga. Flight arrived 15 minutes early in Malaga and baggage was succesfully routed.

Lots of empty space on the flight. it was only about 1/3rd full. everyone could spread out and take three seats each. none of the other passengers seemed to be surprised about this.

i would happily fly with these guys again.

Feel very unhappy with the manner the changes were made, the agent actively chased me for the balance, within hours of paying I received notification of the change.I would not recommend Travel republic or Air Europe.

Good points, none. Bad points, 2 days delayed. Lost baggage for 5 days and no help from Air Europa. No meal provided on plane even though we paid. Lack of communication. Flew to a different airport and failed to tell us......I would not recommend you fly with this airline you will regret it!

I booked a flight on their website and was e-mailed the next day to say it did not go through. They asked me to call their booking line. Called and was put on hold for ten minutes. The operator spoke incredibly poor English (put me on hold four more times) and it took twenty mintues to attempt to rebook. It was too confusing and I asked to have it cancelled. Just to be sure I was understood, I inquired via e-mail to see if the reservation was indeed cancelled, I was assured they did. When I rec ...

My flights with Air Europa were very pleasant. The captain was very informative of turbulence and other things associated with the flight. The crew were also very good. Both my flight times were exactly on time which is very important to me. So well done and keep up the good work.

The movie choices were up to date that's all I can think of. The man on the phone was very polite and understanding and helpful when dealing with my complaint. I flew London Gatwick to Madrid where I transferred to Buenos Aires. My luggage was checked through all the way to BA and never arrived. I am currently in Argentina with no luggage, no compensation and over a week later they still haven't located my bag. I am appalled. I fly long distance regularly, often with stop overs and a change of a ...

I am waiting for 7 days for my luggage now. Have no clothes to wear. Every time I call Air Europa they tell me that the boss is right now talking to the airport my bag was sent to. Horrible! don't fly them!

I'll try to make this brief. Travelled from Madrid to Ibiza on Air Europa. I arrived, my luggage did not. They allowed me to spend 100 Euro, and that was it. They said I could spend more after my luggage was declared lost, and that's after three weeks.
It's been over 7 months, I still do not have my luggage, still have not be reimbursed for my luggage, and still waiting for at least that 100 Euro allowance. Customer Services keeps sending me back to Luggage Services, and Luggage Services kee ...

I have recently travelled to Tenerife with Air Europa and unfortunately it turned out to be the worse flight I have ever come across. The air hostess spoke very little English and we were told that meals were provided on the aircraft and it also stated this on our tickets (Standard Meal). We left Manchester at 4.25am and was told that due to the time meals were not available but they would be when we returned back to the UK. After 4 hours of no leg room and been extremely uncomfortable all th ...

Having lost our baggage, they did not lift a finger to help us, and despite finding it fairly soon, made no effort whatsoever to return it to us. Disgraceful.

I and my partner went from CDG to AGP and return with Air Europa. It was a codeshare flight with Air France from AMS. Air Europa provided us with the most horrible experience. We went to AGP for New Year's Eve and Air Europa lost the luggage of every passenger who had a transfer in AGP. We arrived in AGP with no luggage at all. My luggage was found the next day and it took more than 24 hours to be delivered! They delived the luggage at the hotel in AGP when we phoned everyday to inform that we s ...

Air Europa provided an efficient flight and got us to our destination. Maybe if we took the time to learn other languages the apparent rudeness may not really be there.

I would fly with Air Europa again without hesitation, and I've flown all over the world. Too many people expect too much sometimes. We are a family of four and would definitely fly Air Europa again.

Flew with Air Europa way back in 1999 from MAD to ALC, and also from LGW to MAD several times. Their TurboProp aircraft has very comfortable leather seats and good leg room (their jets are the usual leg crushing affairs in Economy). However at that time they would not allocate seats on domestics, so no requests for Aisle or WIndow seats or anything like that. Fine for myself, but something to bear in mind if you have any special requirements.

Food was grim, a bread roll and piece of meat (no ...

Flew Air Europa from Gatwick to Madrid in May 2003 as they were the only airline left with available seats from UK to Spain as Celtic were in UEFA Cup Final there. Flight was on time, airplane very old and tatty, but hey, you get what you pay for.

Free beer and crisps for all on board was good. We were seated in row 26. In Rows 27 to 32 you were allowed to SMOKE!!! I am a petrified flyer at the best of times. This was not what I wanted to see and I thought this was illegal anyway.
