    I ordered a hard drive for digital TV on 1 April 09. Western Digital Scorpio 120 GB Hard drive. It seemed to have a few faults at first - losing picture or losing sound. This was rectified temporarily by switching off at the plug and restarting, but was annoying. The technician seemed to think that the fault lay rather in the attachments than the hard drive, and after wiggling those about the viewing did improve. However it still sometimes loses the picture and then it is necessary to go to another channel and come back to the original, when it is okay again. The technician thinks it might be too powerful for my old machine so not the fault of the component! The original hard drive (which was only 10 hours recording as against 60 hours with this one) gave me no trouble at all over about 5 years use.
