Order cufflinks from them on 18 Feb 13 - after ringing many times stating that we had not received them after the due date we demanded a call back. They just kept saying it had been passed to their head office and we should keep checking our emails. After a week of checking the emails, still nothing had been received we kept ringing them again. There point blank refused to put us through to 'Head office', I am actually doubting they exist. We finally received the cufflinks a month after we... (read more)

I ordered 14 shirts from Hawes & Curtis and the order came missing a shirt. I emailed customer service to no avail so then gave them a call. They told me that the order was complete so they'd have to look in the warehouse to see if there had been a problem. I would have to call back. I asked if they would call me back. They said no. I have spent nearly £400 with them and they're disputing that a shirt is missing. As they feel the order is complete naturally it must be me trying to rob... (read more)

I bought three shirts from H&C, and despite them all stating "luxury" cotton, they proved to be of extremely poor quality after the first wash (at 30 degrees, with fabric coditioner). Very hard to iron, and looks cheap. (read more)

The shirts looked great on the website and when I got them. Then I washed them before wearing (as I do with all shirts and the material became warped (extreme puckering) at the seams. I returned the items (except for the one good shirt) and Hawes and Curtis refused to refund me despite proof and acknowledgement that they had received the shirts. I lost $225. After a year of arguing with customer service I quit trying and just filed a report with a business bureau in London. Don't bother with... (read more)

I Nearly agree with the above, the quality of my short was OK but the service was non existent. I bought two on line one arrived the other "was out of stock". No message nothing to warn me. When I reordered that went down into oblivion and nothing was sent. No messages nothing. But needless to say my card was charged straight away. I shall not deal with this company again. here are to many other competitors will to want my business and I suggest any potential buyer does the same. ... (read more)

With all honesty the company over all is a disaster! The quality of the shirts are horrible, the services provided is ridiculous. I went in to the branch in Westfield, Whit City and the sales assistants were chatting about in the corner and it actually took one of them to acknowledge my existence, the Manager was using foul language with his employees, maybe he thought no one had heard him! The promotions are no good because they seem to have one type of it all the time I have been there!... (read more)

Firstly, I'm 6'2 and a runner so pretty slim. The shirts dont fit, simple as that. you either get something too big or too small. Secondly, once you discover this, you'll take them to the shop for a refund, i purchased online. They'll not do you a refund in the store, policy states that they have to be back in the warehouse prior to the refund being processed. Policy states this takes 7-10 days. It's been a month now since i returned the shirts, several emails and phonecalls later and... (read more)

I received my first H&C shirt as a gift and since then I have bought two more, and I plan on buying more by the end of spring.
The fabric is outstanding and very easy to iron, the colors are bright and modern and the overall cutting is top notch plus there are four different colar options, depending on the occasion the shirt is meant to be worn. There are also many little details on the outside of the collar, or inside the colar and inside the sleeve. Even the buttons match the fabric.
Their...

Hawes and Curtis are second to none. The customer care is exceptional and the product itself is very well made and comes in a very stylish Hawes and Curtis box, presentation is fantastic. The quality of care that I recieved was top class as you would expect from a company of this nature. I would highly recommend Hawes and Curtis to anyone (read more)

The Hawes & Curtis shirts look very good on and are well made. The price is reasonable if you buy several together - something like £40 each.
The two issues I have with them though are as follows:
Firstly, the collars (even on the 'normal' shirts) are not a shape that I particularly like - this is a personal preference thing.
Secondly, presumably to make the shirts look good they feel like they are coated in something which makes them nice and shiny and smart - but the downside is they...

I would highly recommend men's shirts from Hawes & Curtis for your work wardrobe. The shirts are extremely well made, durable and reasonably priced. A variety of styles are sold, including a tailored and standard fits. Best value is if you buy 4 for £100, either online or instore. (read more)
