    Fantasyleague.com is one of the oldest of the online fantasy leagues. Its not associated with one of the media owners like most of them are - its a stand alone brand as far as I knowIts very well thought through and I've been using it for about 6 seasons now - creates great competitiveness between friends and is the best £30 or so I spend all year in terms of entertainment to cost!Its not really focused on winning a big pot of cash at the end of the season, but for me that's a bit irrelevant, its about having a competition with mates.We have an auction in a bar at the start of the season - this is the difference between this setup and some of the other setups - ie with www.fantasyleague.com you can only have a player in one team in your league - so you all put in bids for the players and whoever pays the most gets the player they want. You obviously all start with the same fixed amount of money (You chose how much)Then as the season progresses and transfes in and transfers out of the league happen you can continue to bid on players to build up your squad (assuming you haven't squandered all your cash in the initial auction that is)Its great fun. Simple, but great.It also means that I get better value from my Sky Sports subscription as I find myself watching Blackburn vs Wigan, which frankly I wouldn't if i didnt have players from both sides in my fantasty league teamOnly real downside is the site is a bit flakey sometimes - ie its down more than you'd want it to be. Not a huge amount of time, but really it shouldn't go down at all in my opinion.
