Sony Ericsson T707 review: Off it glows
8 Apr 2009

Summary
Sony Ericsson T707 is a new addition to the T-series but it’s nothing like the T-series as you know them. Not only is it the first flip in the bunch, it also has a different brief than virtually any other T-series handset...

Pros
Quad-band GSM and 3G with HSDPA support ; 3.15 megapixel camera with Cell-ID geotagging ; 2.2" 256K-color TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution ; Secondary monochrome external display (36 x 128 pixels) ; Scratch-resistant surface for both ...

Cons
Camera doesn’t have auto focus or LED flash ; Low-res video recording (QVGA@15fps) ; External display not legible in sunlight ; Keyboard lacks adequate typing feedback (might be changed in final product) ; The light effects are too dim (might be ...

Verdict
As one of the product designers claims, the Sony Ericsson T707 was inspired by rainbows and the array of paintjobs it will be released in will make sure it won't go unnoticed. The light effects, the stealthy external screen and the ripple-and-circle ...

Sony Ericsson T707
6 Jul 2009

Pros
Attractive front finish, external display, gesture controls, light effects, TrackID, A2DP Bluetooth

Cons
No new or exciting features, glossy finish attracts fingerprints, build quality, keypad spacing, no 3.5mm headphone jack

Verdict
Sony Ericsson's T707 isn't a bad mobile phone, but it offers nothing to get excited about. This is yet another typical Sony Ericsson handset, with a feature set and interface that are all too familiar.

Summary
sony ericsson t707 review: Call us shallow but we like the little T707 for its body, not for its brains. This sexy handset is great at the basics, but lacks any techy extras.

Pros
Sexy design • Nifty external light notifications • Well spaced keypad • Good basic calling and messaging ;

Cons
No 3.5mm adapter • No Wi-Fi or GPS • Poorly positioned charging socket • RRP is overpriced ;

Sony Ericsson T707
27 Mar 2009

Summary
This is a glossy device with a number of different lighting effects and an a bold, circular sweep on the outside the surrounds the small external display. In design terms, there is a lot of the Z750 and Z780 in this phone, and it is perhaps a little ...

Call us shallow but we like the little T707 for its body, not for its brains. This sexy handset is great at the basics, but lacks any techy extras.

Pros
Sexy design ; nifty external light notifications ; well-spaced keypad ; good basic calling and messaging

Cons
No 3.5mm adapter ; no Wi-Fi or GPS ; poorly positioned charging socket ; RRP is overpriced

Verdict
Our review unit doesn't break from the popular glossy black finish of many new mobiles--others available feature electric pink and blues--but its strengths definitely lie in its design, especially on the top half of its slick chassis. Without power ...

26 Mar 2009

Summary
After several online leaks, the Sony Ericsson T707 is finally out and is packed with light effects and gesture controls. The phone lights up when you receive a call and you can personalize the light settings to each of your friends, so you always know ...

Bought two phones for Xmas for my children. First one was repaired in Feb and the second has been in for repair twice in the last two months. Not reliable at all. Trading in the LG Cookie for different brands.

Samsung c300
25 Jul 2008

The Samsung c300 is a good small mobile that's easy to use. However, it has no camera or bluetooth or a memory slot so im very disappointed about that. Overall, if you want a cheap mobile with out a lot of features this is the mobile for you.

Apple iPhone 3GS
26 Jun 2009

I have long been a hater of the iPhone for so many reasons. Non replaceable battery, no copy and paste, no keyboard, no bluetooth file sharing. I could go on but I won't.

I finally gave in an bought one, and I have to say that it is pretty much one of the best phones out there at the moment. It is truly amazing how easy it is to browse and deal with e-mail.

Most of the improvements on this device are actually to do with the 3.0 software rather than the device itself...

Nokia N96
8 Oct 2008

The N96 is a good step forward from Nokia. This is the N95 mark 2. It has many similarities to the N95 and the geneology is clear to see.

The clothes are smarter, and a first in that the new kid has a slightly slower brain. This has been done because the N95's achilles heel - namely short battery life needed an urgent solution.

Well, I have had this phone for 48 hours and find it to be quite likeable. I like the new looks and feel. The slider is improved and screen larger...
