Good Points: Nice looking, small and compact, fits into small handbags! Doesn't go soggy like some umbrellas, dries quickly, fabric seems hard wearing, neat little case

Bad Points: Don't know if I'd have paid the RRP for it, even though it boasts about being strong it still feels fragile in a gust of wind!

General comments: I bought the Fulton Superslim after I swore I would never buy a compact umbrella again (all my others came to an untimely end usually due to a gust of wind). But after growing tired of carrying around a big umbrella (and forgetting to take it with me because it wouldn't fit in my bag) I decided to take the plunge again and buy another compact. I'm really glad that I did as this is the best umbrella I have ever owned. I've never had a Fulton umbrella but on purchasing it I could tell that it was very good quality, well made and the attached tag claimed the aluminium / fibreglass frame made it small yet effective. The recommended retail price of these is around £15 but I got mine elsewhere for much less! The Fulton Superslim is the slimmest, lightest Fulton umbrella ever produced (3cm long and only 125g) yet it's full size when open. Mine is a deep pink colour with bright pink glitter within the fabric (called glitter plum, very girly!). The fabric seems very durable, it's actually different to normal umbrella fabric, it seems almost like plastic so that instead of going soggy like umbrellas tend to when they get wet, the rain slides straight off rather than absorbing which means it dries much quicker too. The case is nice, made from the same fabric and with a Fulton tag.I've only given this an 8 because on the tags that were attached to the umbrella when I bought it (unfortunately I've thrown them away so can't quote them) they appeared to boast about how much stronger this is compared to regular umbrellas and for it's size. I have found the umbrella to be strong and not as flimsy as you would expect for such a tiny umbrella, but I would say it doesn't seem any stronger than normal compact umbrellas and I think I expected more.
