I orderd a tv stand which cost me over £300 pounds. I didn't open package for about 2 months as was in the middle of moving out from me mums so was kept in spare room. When we then moved into house my boyfriend starting assembling the tv stand the quality was awful to big screws. I had never heard of furniture in fashion before but found their prices to be very competitive so opted to buy a new dining table set from them, what a mistake that proved to be! I received my dining table and chairs and gave it a once over, all looked fine so I assembled the table and chairs as directed in the instructions. I am awaiting an order that I was told was in stock and would be delivered 5 - 7 working days. I am now being told that it is not in stock and would need to wait 3 - 4 weeks before it reaches their warehouse to be packaged up. My main concern is NOT being able to speak to anybody. I have had exactly the same problem from them. They sent me faulty furniture and refuse to take back or give me a refund. I get abuse every time I ring them. I explained they were breaking the distance selling act and they laughed. What solicitor did you use. I was thinking of going through small claims. I suggest everybody that reads this website reports them to Trading Standards. Check out linkd in at the ceo saying how he values his customers!!

Looking at the reviews I am not alone here. I bought some breakfast bars stools from Furniture In Fashion but wished to return them. First, you have to submit a claim form and send a photo of the item you want to return. Then they mess you about eternally with their courier service (for which they charge you £30 to get the item collected). What an absolute joke this company is, which is sad as the products they provide are spot on. Having spent tens of hundreds of pounds in the past, when you have a problem the customer services are bordering on useless. 5 months ago we purchased a wardrobe and drawers. We ordered furniture from this company and there was a part missing. There is no customer service telephone number you have to raise a ticket. So far I have left FIVE messages to be called back and raised THREE tickets, all of which have been ignored. If you call and get through to the sales team, it takes a minimum of 15 minutes to get through and they are rude and unhelpful. I have raised a complaint and this has been ignored. Their hassle free return policy really is hassle free - there isn't one! I've been trying to return goods for over 3wks now and it's impossible to get hold of anyone, their ticket system is a joke (they just close the ticket to prevent you contact them further!) and when you do get through they make promises they don't keep. I ordered a cabinet from these guys, but the second after I paid for it I found all the negative reviews and got scared. Thus I decided to cancel my order. How would you do in a normal company?
