Incredibly snotty service from a petty little bloke behind the bar who thought that a black coffee and an Americano are one and the same thing, and treated me like some sort of moron. Couldn't be bothered to tell the snivelling berk to Google it, but his attitude over something so minor suggested that he has issues with customers. I guess he's in the wrong job. Avoid this place, it has ideas above its' station. (read more)

We went to Loch Fyne quite early evening so as it wasn't so busy the service was OK. The food, however, was at best average.

The smoked fish pie reminded me of corned beef hash but made with fish. I thought a pie was supposed to have a filling and a top? Not this one. The flavour was crude - all smoke, little else. My partner had the grilled halibut. He is a halibut fan but said this wasn't one of the better ones flavour wise. Both dishes came only with potato, so then you need to get... (read more)
