Good Points: Cheap, but not a toy, not at 550fps with 7.9gr pellet.

Accurate with the scope to 20m.

Not a single fault to date after 7 years and thousands of pellets.

Bad Points: Know its limitation - 20m maximum

General comments: Bought this Crosman M 760 Pumpmaster as a BB firing toy for my son. So we could have fun at the family farm and starting to teach him basic skills of safely handling firearms. At the farm I noticed that it could single shot fire .177 pellets. Popped one in, pumped a few times, took aim at a rusty tin - ans shot throught it!! Got the Chrony out - saw in the a manual - maximum pump 10 times - 550fps ith 7.9 Gamo Pro Hunter!!! I did not at the time give it to my son although we did have some fun with it. Now 7 years later AND THOUSANDS of shots later.....still shooting - we have the black scoped version (says Bushnell - do not know if true) - but what I can tell you - very accurate up to 20m. It would be silly to go to longer distances. Never actually fired a single BB through it.

Since then I have fired thousands of pellets and B-Bs through it. It has always functioned properly. Accuracy at 10 yards runs about 1 to 2 inches - not bad for a smoothbore. But the best part is that it lives up to the manufacturers stated velocity claims of 600 fps for pellets, and 625 fps for B-Bs. Over my chronograph this gun averages 607 fps with Daisy pointed ...
