“The imac con is pretty fantastic. Having been sucked...”

The imac con is pretty fantastic. Having been sucked into the imac frenzy and switching from Microsoft I am amazed at how rubbish the whole thing is. From simple tasks like adding upgraded software to even writing emails the IMAC revolution is a joke. Even better is 'help' which, unless in imac speak or so specific in words, gets you no where.
eg. go to 'stickys' help to find out how to delete an old one and nothing, FAQ....nothing....eventually you work out to click for no apparent reason in… Read Full Review

Your review sounds spurious. You don't state which i-Mac you have. To say that a windows machine is easier to use than a Mac is spurious nonsense. Upgrading and downloading programmes on a Mac is simplicity its-self and much more secure than on a windows machine. If multi - media is so good on windows, why do 95% of the worlds top ad agencies use Mac's ? I have had an i-Mac for 6 years, it's never crashed or failed. Mac OS is the most intuitive and simple os. After 12 years of windows versions that seem to last a year before the next "improved" version is out, regular system crashes, freezes, lockouts, op system re-loads, and oh a real lot of attention from the hacking community because windows architecture is so easy to infiltrate. You clearly have some issues with Apple, but your review is extremely misleading.

Still got the Apple Mac os x 10.6.8 after all this time and its still rubbish. Had a recall to change the hard disc as it kept freezing and burning discs almost created enough heat to cause a house fire through convected heat.
People who do actually work use microsoft my friend and dont foget if bill gates had not given this to Apple they would not even exist. 30 days from liquidation! And after all that they make compatibility with the rest of the world almost impossible. However ..the best marketing machine in the universe. M
