Acer DX900 dual-SIM Windows smartphone
29 Apr 2009

Summary
If a dual-SIM Windows Mobile phone with a decent UI is what you're after then look no further than the Acer DX900.

Verdict
Assuming you can get past the Windows Mobile OS ââ'¬â€œ and we know a lot of you can't ââ'¬â€œ and the less-than-stellar battery life, the DX900 has a lot going for it. The inclusion of Spb's excellent UI is a major plus that pushes the Windows look ...

If you want a Windows Mobile device with dual SIM support, then Acer's DX900 is the only available option in the UK. It does its job of handling two SIMs well, providing usable tweaks in the provided applications.

Acer DX900 review
28 May 2009

Summary
Imagine if it was 1985. The Acer DX900 PDA-slash-phone would be awesome. Unfortunately, it's 2009 and PDAs are old news…

Pros
Dual-SIM function works perfectly, good touch-screen

Cons
Primitive, unintuitive user interface, stylus required for many functions including typing

Verdict
There are much better, easier to use options for PDA-style phones on the market.

Nokia N95
25 Oct 2008

I have now had my Nokia N95 for 15 months. All things considered I would definitely reccomend this mobile phone to other people. I find the best thing about this phone is its ease of use.
The menu is not complicated and things are under the menu option you expect (I have had some phones where it was near impossible to fine the bluetooth settings).
The camera is excellent and takes clear and well balanced photographs with little or no blurring on moving objects. Also, I have been...

Samsung i900 Omnia
14 Sep 2008

Samsung Omnia Review - The specifications are excellent, but somehow the machine disappoints, perhaps as it is trying to do to much. It is certainly possible that a few firmware tweaks could turn this into an iphone challenger, but at the moment it is just a little too awkward and slow to use. The user interface is not bad, until you put it next to it's apple rival, where it seems at least a little clumsy.

The Nokia N95 is a great phone.

Has a great camera, good internet.

Only complaint is battery life.

Would still recommend it. Just charge it every night.

Nokia 7610 Supernova

My 'predecessor' to this phone was the popular 6300. This phone is similar to that (eg in terms of its features, screen layout and functions), but the 'bad points' mentioned in this review are where it differs. Even when this phone has its camera & video settings altered to the same as, or higher than, those of the 6300, it is still extremely poor quality.

Samsung i900 Omnia
5 Jan 2009

Great Camera, memory and good games.. however I do not recommend the Samsung Omnia as I find it a pain to use personally. I am not happy with the battery life, I think what if my car breaks down on the motorway and I want to ring AA but cant because my Omnia has died due to battery life. I do not recommend this mobile phone.
