The NScessity Wireless 7" Video Monitor is an excellent purchase. The actual monitor works really well and the 7" screen means you can view the baby really well.The reception on the monitor is pretty good - could be better (which is where it lost 1 point on my rating) - but as long as you set it up properly its good.It switches to night vision when the room is dark enough and its incredibly clear when it does - really good picture quality.The other reasons my mark is only 8 out of 10 is because the osund quality is dire - totally and utterly useless - you cant hear a thing other than interference, so we've also bought at BT 100 sound monitor (see other review that Ive written) which is a pain having to have 2 monitors The final reason for the 2 points being taken off is that the monitor can't be used with batteries - ie it has to be plugged into the mains - which again is a painIt meant that we had to buy a compatible 2.5" monitor too so that we can use the monitor if we're not close to a power plug (eg in the garden)Overall though definitely worth getting one of these - it means that if you hear a noise and you're a bit of a concerned parent (as i think we all are at the start) you dont have to disturb the baby to check on them, you can just look at the monitor.
