    This Tefal 6796.15 Magiclean 'Ice Crusher' Blender has lasted well (6 years) when used to make soups and general food blending. Unfortunately, the plastic in the jug appears to perish over time so if you then use it to crush ice the blade will throw the ice through the jug! That surprised the cat who was eating her dinner I'll tell you! I have spoken to TEFAL customer service about my concerns that the jug perishes with no apparent indicators of this, they have noted this and said I can send it back and have a report written on it which will cost me £15. Don't think I'll bother
