    I am a Diamond member and have always enjoyed cruising with Royal Caribbean but after my latest experience I will never give them any of my business again and it has nothing to do with the cruise experience. They do not offer any benefits to repeat members unless you book balcony or higher (no big deal). I booked online a guarantee window room 100 days before the sailing. They had plenty of rooms but gave a Diamond member the lowest category and 1 of 10 portal hole rooms. They said sorry our system randomly selects and being a member means nothing. The price dropped drastically and when I asked about it they said sorry the new price is for new reservations. They have all the category of window rooms $250 per person less and would not offer me a category upgrade or anything. The people said yes it does stink and sorry. This is not a cruise experience or staff problem. This is a business problem and how management is running the business. Very bad business decisions. I WILL NOT RETURN.
