    Good Points: The new world ISN'T a dream come true, it would be a boring film if it was. Coraline's parents don't act in an ordinary way when she saves them either.


    Bad Points: I didn't like that when she first discovered the New World she woke up in the morning back in the normal world, even though she did stay there properly when she didn't want to.


    General comments: Coraline is an adventure film about a young girl who discovers a new world through a secret door in her new house. She meets her other mother and father, who at first provide her with treats and love and happiness and Coraline is thrilled, but her Other Mother's secret is soon revealed and Coraline has to fight against the evil woman in order to protect her real boring regular mum and dad. Of course there's a lovely ending.
