    Good Points: Has worked like a charm for 2 years. Has all the functionality I could need.


    Bad Points: Need to position it correctly for maximum coverage, which I imagine is similar for all wireless communication. When you change your settings you need to save them for each page, otherwise they get lost, the problem is the router restarts each time you change a setting, so this can get a little time consuming. Not good looking.


    General comments: I have this Linksys WRT55AG connected to my Virgin Motorola Surfboard cable modem using the ethernet port. My personal computer is connected via an ethernet port and my wii and laptop use the wireless network. The admin interface is intuitive enough and was pretty simple to setup everything. I've turned off name broadcast and use encryption and password to connect to the router. When I've viewed the logs on the router I can see that the firewall is blocking unwanted traffic. I set up the router not to respond to pings. There is lots of functionality and I feel quite safe using it.
