I love this bike. It has excellent componentry for the money and the finish is really good. I do approx 120 miles per week on road over varying elevations sometimes riding quite hard and the bike has developed an anoying habit of snapping spokes. I think it's a week point on this bike due to torque loading in opossite direction from power assist acceleration and de-celeration through the disc brake. I have broken 4 spokes so far and the dealer says I'm not toqueing the spokes correctly and.... (read more)

There were a couple of reasons why bought this bike. Firstly it looked great and all my mates are amazed by the way it looks (neighbour thinking about buying it too). Secondly it was quite well priced for the specs and the 13Ah battery allows to easily cover 45 miles. It's more than enough. In reality the bike performs superb and I absolutely love riding it, getting up the hills is a piece of cake and in fact I use it more frequently than the regular push bike. Very well thought-out bike made from quality components that come together very well to make a bike that is a pleasure to ride. At this price point it's lighter than other bikes, has a longer range, is made from better quality parts and is better looking!

It's a bike that's fun to ride,...

I own Oxygen Emate Race for 4 months. During that time the bike turned out to be a very reliable robust machine. I used it in the mixed terrain on road as well as off road in the hilly areas of Dorking, Surrey. The bike has a great equipment with very good Shimano XT gears and Avid brakes which are in fact very responsive even if they get very hot on the downhill. The suspension forks are also very comfortable and the lockout on the forks helps while I climb.
The battery seems to be doing...
