For my girlfriends birthday present I asked Rory to organise a makeover and photo shoot for her. The make up session was very professional and the personal touch was calming and laid back. I was very pleased with the result of my session with Rory - several photographers over the years have not quite managed to get the right shot for me owing to my rather odd features. However, Rory managed to get several excellent pics, which really captured me the way I wanted. The only drawback was that the price was on the high side, but you get what you pay for as they say. I had a one to one beginners photography course yesterday with Rory in the cold and wet at Albert Dock. I was a complete beginner in using a digital SLR camera and after 3 hours knew all I needed to know to start taking good quality pics. Rory was very patient and explained the concepts in everyday language making the information very accessible. I would recommend a 1 to 1 to learn the basics or improve skill.Thanks Rory.
