    Good Points: Very good customer service. Excellent members of staff


    Bad Points: Low stock options


    General comments: I would use them, call their contact centre first to enquire the goods are in stock. You can place an order over the phone. Very polite and efficient members of staff!!

    I ordered a Dyson vacuum cleaner from 24-7 Electrical using my VISA card, three days later I see the website indicates they have no stock and are not expecting a delivery of stock within the next 10 days, the order status was still in the 'processing' state it had since I placed the order, so I use their website form to request a cancellation or the order.     Do not buy from this company I advice you! They delivered the wrong appliance to me, and I rejected it. They since have kept my money and won't refund me and will not tell me if/when I am getting a replacement! They so far have been unhelpful. This has now been going on for well over a month and still no idea on what is happening - they have £250 of my money and I have nothing to show for it. I have asked my credit card company to deal with it on my behalf as I struggle to get help from 2 ...

    I brought my cooker from 247 Electrical on the 30th of May 2008 and i still don't have it to this day. They have my money and when i tried to call them they don't open their phone lines until later in the day and they also after countless emails to them do not respond to them. When i did manage to get through to a human to talk to i found the customer service agent very off putting indeed.     I've ordered a Samsung LCD TV from 24-7 and after one week they postponed the shipping. After other five days they postponed again. I called and they said they didn't have the TV in stock, although they confirmed they had it before. I cancelled the order but they said that they did have the TV and it was waiting to be shipped so they were not able to cancel anymore.     This retailer has been an absolute waste of time. They did not know what they had in stock. I ordered a TV it was a 3-5 day delivery when they actually found my details a week later the TV was out of stock and would have been delivered a total of six weeks after the original order and would have been £40 cheaper if ordered when back in stock and they ignored this when I pointed it out?     Plenty of bad points to mention, waiting since the 12.02.08 for my hoover and i just been told that it has been delayed again. You are better off paying a bit more. At lease you will get your item. There are no good points.

    I ordered a hostess trolley on the 17th December, the item was shipped some three days later. Then on the 21st December I received a call from the courier that they wanted to deliver on the 2nd January! I was furious and cancelled the order, since then I have tried to find out when my refund would be given. They said that they had to wait for the trolley to be returned by the courier company.     Initial order of a Hotpoint fridge came on time but was damaged. Waited more than 8 weeks for a replacement, but despite repeated assurances that it was on it's way, we never recieved it. Got fed up with waiting, so got a refund. This company is very difficult to communicate with! I would never use them again!!!!

    Bought a Samsung LCD TV in mid-September. Was originally told delivery would be 3 working days.     I ordered a 37 inch LCD TV on the 18th of August from supermarket.com, which said it would be in stock on Monday 20th. I was expecting a call on the Monday with a delivery date. Instead, I got an e-mail at 18:30 that evening saying they wouldn't have the TV in stock until the 28th of August.     Ordered a Samsung 37" LCD at a barging price then decided to upgrade my order, as it was such a good price. I called up their customer services who told me I couldn't upgrade my order without sending in a cheque for the difference as they couldn't take card payments over the phone.

    I decided to cancel my order and was advised I would receive a refund in 3 working days, so I placed a new order on line for a 40" model.

    Initial Order very quick and first return expedient - goods faulty on arrival although not 24-7's fault
    Good delivery tracking and return collection.
    However, trying to speak to someone who can do anything when things go wrong was almost impossible. Goods have been proved to be advertised as 'in stock' when they are not and not predicted to be for nearly 4 weeks. Such goods were also advertised as available for delivery in 2-3 days.     Thought I would take a chance on 247 due to very good price for the Humax. Knew it was a risk after reading quite a few poor reviews. After I ordered online I received an email confirmation within 10 minutes. Two days later I received an email confirming the goods had been shipped - I was also able to track the goods online with City Link. Goods arrived as expected the following day. Goods as described and it worked perfectly.
    Probably was lucky but maybe they have improved.

    What's the difference between 24-7 Electrical and the Jess James Gang? Very little! They're both cowboy organizations! I sincerely hope that 24-7 Electrical go bankrupt, and soon! The Internet does not need resellers this POOR! Just please make sure you haven't ordered anything from them when their ship goes down!

    A cheap retailer, but personally, I'll never use them again.

    The order tracking process is useless. The 'in stock' note on the 24-7 Electrical website is misleading - it may show total stock, but it doesn't indicate how many orders have been taken. Hence, you may end up with no product if you are low in the queue.

    I advise you not to buy from 24-7 Electrical.

    I was initially concerned when I placed the order and was given no opportunity to review the order after entering card details - the order was sent which is not good prectice.

    The item arrived badly damaged and so in accordance with the terms, I sent an email via their online forms.
    I did not get a response.
    I called 24-7 Electrical and was told that they would look up the details and call me back - they didn't!

    If nothing goes wrong I am sure they are fine, but if it does you better hope the manufacturer can help.

    I got a Lite-On LVW5045 from 24-7 Electrical, but the item went wrong and needed to be sent back for warranty repair. Customer service system is completely automated, and therefore I kept getting the same useless information from them.
