had an appointment with a senior stylist for colouring. However after my colour was applied, I was left in the hands of a trainee(I think) to wash my hair. This was not done in a very nice manner, as I had water and shampoo dripping down my face(not ideal when one has to return to work)!
I was then told yet another trainee(I presume again) was going to dry my hair. I found her manner and skills questionable.

I am a regular customer at Richardson Murray and always receive professional service. Staff are friendly and talented. I go forbeauty as well as hair and I always walk out feeling a million dollars. Their new facials are incredible. (read more)

I have had my hair cut and coloured several times at this salon and I have always found the staff to be very friendly and professional. I recently had my long hair re-styled and highlighted and I am absolutely delighted with the results. I have had so many compliments from friends and colleagues that I will definitely be returning for ongoing hair treatments. (read more)

I agree with the other reviewer. I got haircut by the director of the salon (£50) and she spent 30 mins talking and 5 mins cutting my hair! I told her NOT to cut me short fringe but she did! She was obviously too busy talking and NOT listening to her client. She doesn't seen to have any professionalism either - shouting across the salon, lack of respect for her client. Totally unhappy with her attitude and the cut. (read more)

Total chaos. Really disorganised. Had hair and make up done for a wedding at Richardson Murray, Glasgow and it took three people to do make up! One guy did make up, then a woman came and put my eyeliner on, then another was assigned to lipstick. Someone else did my nails too. No continuity at all. For £50, I'd have expected better.
