Spend a few more euros for a decent device. This is a load of Junk. I cant even get it updated, and to be honest I am glad because im sure that the update would be junk also. Difficult and confusing to use also.

the navigation is very good and helpful it has a very good menu it shows me where ever I want to go it is very helpful and the only problem is that sometimes it shows me the wrong maps and places it is very easy to work with because it is touch screen the size is very good it is not too big and not too small the charge is very good it does not finish very fast it stays for the right time

Coming home from the Echo Arena one night and the Sat Nav directed me to drive into the Mersey. A Dangerous piece of kit, avoid at all cost.

Do not be stupid with this cheap device (actually it is not cheap for the what you get), do not waist your money. Example1: You stay at Crescent Road N22> enter Selborne Road, N22 7TH. Binatone will bring you to the Selborne Road, N14 7TH (!!!!!). Any location you starting from (tried from EN3 and N9) will result at the Selborne Road, N14(!!!). Example2: You stay at N9, Edmonton Green>enter Crescent Road N22 and this device (costs by the way £60.00), will track you down to the Crescent Road N11 (!!!). Screen brightness (bad): at the midday you`ll see nothing on it.

it is so useless, it was the most useless item i ever purchased from argos, its also a waste of petrol because it takes you right in circles and ull be so lucky if u arrive at your destination with its directions

This sat nav really looks good on the Argos catalogue and still does look good out of the box, also the price is brilliant; However I soon realized that as soon as you buy it you are out of date in that the map update really is few years old (in my case six years old) that means that the sat nav guide you out of your way. To get an update you must buy it from Binatone for 36£, add to this the fact that if you want the update you must post the whole sat nav to them and wait to get it back. It is unfair that you buy an item that is not up to date, they should clearly write it on the box. If i could go back I would not buy this product and any other Binatone sat nav. In this let me add that two of my friends bought similar Binatone sat nav and have the same problem. We all bought it from Argos and when we realized that it is not worth it , it was too late to give it back to the shop. Better I spend more money in a sat nav that does what it says on the box.

it is a very cheap gadjet for neverybody to learn the navigation game.
It tells you to keep left on the motorway so you dont find yourself blocked in the right lane when your turn off comes.
Your trvelspeed can be switched from walking to speeding and you will find it tells you 500 yards 200 and 100 yards to turn.
It updated the local map within a month with the lanes in our housing estate and gives now perfectly all rigt and left turns.
you can safe maps on a 2 gb memocard and help the navigator to create a better picture next time.
I am just working on a programm to link to google earth to lpreload from there the finer destinations like backyards and carparks.
I think i walk withe it for 2 hours and it tracks my way and memorises it as footpassenger. I can also use it on a bike. the screen can be seen very clearly and it falls often down and has no damage.Check your sattelite reception when you get errors. And pray for an upgrade of software but please compressed so not to waist usefull memoryspace which makes woprk slower.
And at last safe Journey the sun rises in the east and sets in the south.

I have owned one of these sat. navs since I sadly had to replace another sat. nav I had (brilliant) I have many times been tempted to launch it through the window of the car into the nearest body of water - if it could get me to one!
Steer well clear (no pun intended) of this system. It has been christened 'B---h' in my car and actually it's one redeaming feature is that it has helped me with my diet - how so? well, everytime I ask it to find the nearest macdonalds (from preprogrammed points of interest) it fails thus I get to my first job everyday, tired, angry and hungry! Seriously I wonder how many RTA'S have been caused by this DANGOUROUSLY inadequate piece of ----, sorry I mean kit! .... I know I had an accident I would never have had if it wern't for having to turn round in Liverpool because IT did not know where the birkenhead tunnel was....and that involved a bus!....Any lawyer want to do a no win no fee for me?

my wife bought it as a birthday present for me in March by April it found its way down the hard shoulder of the M11. Cheep tat and useless, i don't know why but if you miss your road by 20 yds instead of turning you round it sends you at least 5 miles out of your way to get back to your road.

I bought this device for my dad for christmas last year & I so wish id have read some reveiws about it first. It is total rubbish, it tells you to turn left when it should be right. It tells you to keep left on the motorway when you should be takeing the exit. The only good thing about it is the funny stories you can tell to your friends after you see the funny side of being totally lost for an hour. DONT BUY IT. Save up for an extra month and buy a tom tom.

If you want a comedy Satnav that takes you to places you never knew you wanted to go to...this is for you.
It gives you the most wonderful feeling of suspense..never quite knowing if you are even headed in the right direction.
Binatone must have made this peice of junk for a joke.
Mine is 3 months old, and I have just thrown it in the bin today

I personally thought this sat nav was pretty decent. Reminded me of the flintstones mind but still.. All in all rather good! I would tell my friends about it as it is cheap and gets you there!

Wonderful DEVICE! it keeps taking me on a trip up the M45 and adding about 160 miles to a journey from Watford to Basingstoke!!**!! I had got it for a gift for my Wife but before fitting it to her car tried it out on a known journey...... I can not put in print the correct comments from my lovely lady.
Its good points Cheap, loud, has Night time switch (wish other Car Drivers used this option)
Not this one

compared with gar min and tom tom this bin-atone sat nav is poor .not very good features difficult to use .and not worth the money if i had the chance again i would i would not purchase a binatone

This is just a waste of money! No updates available online and when I contacted Customer Services they informed me I would have to send it back to them at my expense for an update. Like others I found that it tells you that you have arrived at destination and yet you still have a mile to go. Trying to put in an address is a nightmare as it will not accept the post code. Do not bother buying this. If you need a Sat Nav make sure that you can at least update online.

i have just got the A430 for my girlfriend for xmas what a load of C**P you cant get updates off the net and if you get hold of binatone helpline they want £32.99 to update it the maps are out of date the help line you mite as well forget we went to a place in ceanarfon that we know well and the sat nav if you can call it that was sending you every where but where you wanted to go the only thing this satnav would be good for is to use as a wedge that levels up a wobbley table

Bought the T430 version of this unit, and even though I have been communicating with the support people, I am unable to get any updates for it.
Seems pretty useless if you cant keep it up to date
