The illustrations "The Complete Book of the Flower Fairies" are absolutely beautiful. The originals were done in watercolor and the clarity and beauty of the transparent paints is obvious in the artwork. The poetry is simple and intended for young readers but is a wonderful way to start teaching appreciation of the form.
