I never received my confirmation e-mail, so I had nothing to bring to the airport for proof of purchase. I called for hours on their 1pound/minute toll numbers, to be kept waiting for over a half hour. They never picked up. I e-mailed 8 different customer service e-mails to try to get a hold of anyone who works for the airline, and not one ever responded. The flight, which I subsequently had to pay 60 euros more for, was delayed for an hour and a half, and cramped. I will never cheap out an ...

Me and my husband were due to fly to Dublin on 18/04/06 at 8am, we got there on time about 10 mins before the gate closing time, when we looked that nobody was at the desk, we asked to one of the girls chatting with the girl from another airline checking desk Where could we check in? Oh surprise!! we were late so we couldn't check in, when in fact we were 10 mins early, we had to be transferred to the next flight at 11am but on top of that we had to pay an extra £100 . The point being here ...

The two points I provided are for the price and due to the fact that I did not fly with them. My grandfather died and I did not wish to travel. It was hard enough contacting them from the U.S., but you can't cancel via their internet support line....in fact...you can't cancel over email...you have to fax a cancellation request to their corporate headquarters and await up to 14 days for their response. I tried calling but nobody answered - so I tried dialing random extensions and finally got thr ...

I live in London and my Girlfriend lives in Cornwall, so we frequently use Ryanair to travel between Newquay and Stansted because no other airline can match them for price.Unfortunately that's where the good points about this cut-price airline end. As yet, neither of us has boarded a flight which has departed at the published time, and this always seems to be down to a lack of organisational ability, resources and operational foresight on the part of Ryanair.A great example of this is the "Gate ...

I tried to cancel my flight through through telephoning the GB Reservation Contact Tel No 0871 246 0000 on Weds16/4/08 at 0900 4 times they hung up and then played the recorded message. I find this disgraceful way to treat customers especially as I am being charged premium rate for the call. Also why isn't there simple address details or a form on the web site to enable customers to apply for a tax refund on cancelled flights? Why not have a simple cancellation form on the system and you could ...

I live in Stoke-On-trent & fly London Stansted to Jerez with Ryanair which is the only way I can get direct flight from the U.K. at a reasonable price. Overall, I'm happy with Ryanair. The disadvantage, if your physically disabled/partially disabled is that with Ryanair they do not have the walk-on tunnels. You either have to make your way up the steps or sit in a wheelchair on an elevating platform, which is pretty scary if your stuck in a wheelchair & afraid of heights as my wife is.

Flew from Dublin to Edinbourgh on an Afternoon flight. Take of was very shakey but once we were airborn the whole plane seemed quiet relaxed.
Drinks trolley didin't make it the full length of the plane as for we arrived 20 mins early! Pity was looking forward to my buy one get one free vodka.
Would definitely fly Ryanair again, there time keeping and staff are a credit to them.

Very helpful in Barcelona airport. Thank you to one of the staff for all their help and calm support. They conducted themselves in a very professional manner and enabled me to get home after having my handbag and contents stolen. Thank you once again. Helpful and courteous and remained calm and professional at all times.

In my opinion, flights to certain destination are only available from London Stansted. This is a good service, as far as I am concerned but it involves 4 hour's drive on my part and it makes me wonder if a flight from Liverpool or the Midlands somewhere wouldn't be appropriate for all us travelers from the North.

I booked a return ticket from Doncaster to Barcelona (Girona) and although it was my fault for not checking they realy should just advertise that airport as Girona. Although when you arrive a local company runs a bus to Barcelona with the arrival of a Ryanair flight so its not too bad. (21 Euro return to Barcelona). It was my first time with Ryanair and in fact my first time flying on my own. I didn't really have much of a problem, the flights were cheap enough after adding taxes, luggage and ch ...

If you have minimal luggage Ryanair is great but be realistic and perhaps pay a little more on a budget airline like Easyjet, if possible where 20kg is the luggage restriction and hand luggage weight is unrestricted providing it is not too large and you can carry it comfortably. Easyjet are much more relaxed also if you are a little over your weight (with Ryanair we had to repack most of our things into our hand luggage).

I received a email today from Ryanair changing my flight to a much earlier flight which was not suitable, if I wanted to cancel my flight I had to phone them on a 10pence a minute line. I listed for 2 minutes to all the 8 options (non of which were to cancel) I chose the option for reservations and the line rung out and out etc (you getting the message) now I have had to write to Dublin to cancel.

I would fly with Ryanair again but would have to be really cheap considering all the charges you pay on top. What I like about Ryanair is the cheap prices when you can get them also I think there is more leg room in normal seats than most airlines. The flights have always been on time if not early. Not given seat numbers ,the way they always manage to put a lot more on than the original price, ok the bag charges, but airport checkin charges! I have just booked and I have paid an extra £6 e ...

I have used Ryan Air before and have never really had to much trouble.... until now!!!I was looking for flights recently on there website and whilst trying to book flights it would not accept my card and kept showing me the same error message, then another error message came up saying "Please try again later". When I went back later that night the flights had gone up... so I decided to go with JET2 as they where a lot cheaper. I have recently been to my bank and have been charged for flights off ...

I recently canceled a booking with Ryanair due to their inability to perform any sort of customer service. I checked my booking on their website to discover that my departure date had changed to the day after that which I'd originally booked. When I spoke to customer services, they said that they had been forced to change their flight schedule and no longer had any flights on my requested date. I asked why an email had not been sent and was told that it 'had not been deemed necessary because ...

This is the worst company I have ever used and I will never, ever use again.!
I payed £1.49 for my ticket Belfast to Liverpool (+ taxes, it was £29 one way), they charged me £12 for a hold luggage and £18 for my baby's buggy, they charged me £10 for the baby on my lap (+ taxes), anyway, all in all, a return ticket Belfast Liverpool was £149 from £2.99 advertised. That's not all. On the return flight check in they tried to charge me £60 for overweig ...
