My experience, as a family with three young children, was to find out that there were only single seats available, despite being half way down the queue, then being told that the children have to take a single seat! No one would we let his 5 year old sit at the other end of the cabin with a stranger. Moreover, check-in was a nightmare, we were kept waiting for 1.5 hours! No explanation and no apology for the delay. Terrible experience! Avoid them by any means!- Read Guest's review (84 words)

Just got back from my first Ryanair trip to Malaga, Spain and have to say NEVER, NEVER again . Check-in was a nightmare Long queues and an unhelpful staff, so many fees that the total cost probably exceeded that of a regular airline.- Read Guest's review (42 words)

I have flown with Ryanair a few times in the past years and the overall exprience was terrible, mainly due to their choice of airports which are far from any of the places i wanted to reach. The tickets were NOT cheap at all without any of the optional charges if you have a fixed destination. Onboard the staff was rude and the seating was cramped and no entartainment or complimentary food. Once there was a delay of nearly 4 hours but the screen said 2hrs 55 minuites so we had to wait long time i ...- Read Guest's review (156 words)

Ryanair, obviously not the best airline but believe me it's still very very good! My advise to people is don't take on board any nasty horrible complaints about Ryanair. They are so much better than EasyJet in many ways. The only thing you have to be prepared for if flying on Ryanair is to expect to have to fly to smaller airports about 40 or 50 miles out of the city you want to go to, so expect to fly to Paris-Beauvais and not CDG or to Girona and not Barcelona. But to be honest, it's not reall ...- Read Guest's review (175 words)

Was very worried after the press and tv reports, all i can say is, everyone seems to be on a mission to crucify this man and his airline, i have flew many times, local, european and longhaul, What we experienced with Ryanair was an airline as they say that does what it says on the tin..... You get what you pay for, and we got a lot better service than we have had with other more expensive airlines....The flight left early arived early, was clean, food was good staff were polite and good, very we ...- Read El shifter's review (147 words and 1 comment)

I have read a number of reviews where passengers have complained about additional charges and general ripping off by Ryan Air.
I booked for adult tickets from Bristol to Dublin for a day trip.I was able to get 4 returns for under 40 quid. Then came the additional cost for using mt debut card. I was charged £10 per passenger to use the debit card. This I did find a bit of a rip off as there is no justification to charge per passenger. This should have been a transaction charge which I woul ...- Read Guest's review (226 words)

I flew with Ryanair to and from London Stansted to Madrid for a long weekend to see a friend who works in Madrid. We flew as a family of three for just £180 return inc. one checked in baggage. Ryanair were friendly, efficient and 10 minutes ahead of schedule both ways. The only thing i disliked about the experience was the queue for checking in baggage, but we only stood there for a maximum of 10 minutes. In comparison to other airlines i have flown with such as British Airways, Bulgaria A ...- Read Guest's review (164 words and 1 comment)

First review I've ever written for anything, but this Company is just so much a rip-off that I had to comment. I had heard all the stories but thought "buyer beware" and felt I was too savy to be taken advantage of, however first hand experience now means I think "don't touch this lot with a barge-pole!". You may think you have it all covered and they wont get you, but they will! And when I took the time later to look for alternatives, they weren't even the cheapest once I added all the scams in ...- Read John F Cooper's review (123 words)

Very swift from car to plane thanks to booking in online. No luggage to check in so swiftly to gate. Staff efficient and friendly at Edinburgh and also at Bologna.
On flight staff pleasant and well organised, good info on flight.
Plane clean, seats leather so no grotty or dodgy material to harbour grease or yuk. Safety info in front of nose on seat in front- excellent!
Not obliged to take magazine or stuff to buy so not pestered to buy plastic junk for youngest. No pouches of grotty mags/ sic ...- Read Guest's review (142 words)

If you want a flight of playing games and poor customer service then this is the company for you. If you actually want to join your flight then it is better to fly a slightly more expensive airline - aer lingus was wonderful! If he is playing games with us (the customer) then the Ryanair boss is also playing games with the staff and they are responsible for my safety. I would rather pay a little more!- Read Guest's review (77 words)

I booked a flight online at ryanair website with their deals to Faro from Bournemouth for £3 per person each way. I entered in the details and was shocked to see the actuall cost after checking in baggage which was £10 per person each way, taxes and charges, the flight totalled to £220!! Not a deal is it...
Please be aware tho before you check, your luggage weighs up to 15kg. At the check in I nearly got charged £80 for going over. Luckily my mum was under the limit and I ...- Read Guest's review (213 words)

Ryanair is not only the company I hate the most, since it lost my luggage and refused to compensate me for, but it's the company that gets the most publicity If I were you, I'd carefully read the reviews before embarking on such a journey...

First time flying with Ryanair from Durham Teesvalley to Girona. Had no problems at all. The flight there was delayed by half an hour paid priority booking and wa 6th on the plane. Reasonavly comfy for short haul. The crew were pleasant enough. Coming home crew efficient an nice enough and plane left on time so I had no problems and would defienetly use Ryanair again. Found the whole procedure uncomplicated.- Read Guest's review (71 words and 1 comment)

Will never fly Ryanair again and make it my personal mission to tell others about how they ruined our weekend to Galway Oyster Festival. We checked in online and only had hand luggage and got to the gate with plenty of time. They rufused boarding because we hadn't gone through the checkin to have our visa checked. What is the point of having to go through check-in when you have checked in online! Every other airline checks visas at the gate, but they wanted us to go back through security to the ...- Read Guest's review (135 words)
