Good Points: The hotel offered a few good nights of entertainment (but you NEED to get in there early, or you have no chance - for a hotel that accommodates 200 people, the Disco bar only holds 45...).Things like cultural dance, "Birds Of Prey" shows (which the kids LOVED), a few tribute acts, and a reptile show (this however was repeated each week - so left us in a bit of a lurch trying to entertain ourselves for the second week). The hotel is about a 7 minute walk away from the beach and a 20 minute walk to the aquarium and it's surrounding shops (MUST eat in the pizzeria restaurant set on the corner from the Arcade. GORGEOUS food - Highly recommended!).Rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels were always waiting in our room for us.

Bad Points: There were a few things I experienced during the holiday which I wasn't happy about. One of the things being that when it came to the restaurant, there seemed to be different rules for different people. My boyfriend got ill about 4 days into the holiday, so I politely asked if I could take some dry rolls back to our room for him, as he wasn't well enough to come to the restaurant.I was rudely told "No!", only to then watch another lady walk out will a full meal (plate and all!), being allowed to take it back to her balcony to eat...There wasn't really much of a range in the restaurant during the week. The fruit at breakfast was always too soft to eat, but there was always fresh salad for lunch and dinner.I was however put off when I spotted one of the chefs scoop some fallen food from the side and chuck it back in the tray...We tried to eat out from then on...

General comments: Our first impressions of the hotel were quite down-hearting to be honest. I think you're definitely getting what you pay for with this hotel...It IS 2*, so I guess you shouldn't really expect much.We never really saw much of the Reps, but they were around sometimes to host games of water-volley and Kareoke. The hotel offers a few excursions (not much), and the reception staff help you out if they can. The young lad in the Disco bar is an absolute pleasure to be around. He was very friendly and easy to talk to,We did have a colony of ants in our room, but they never bothered us - and on the plus side, they killed any cockroaches that came in!!! So I'll take them ANY day. XDI'll obviously admit, the holiday wasn't ANYTHING spectacular, but it was nice to be out of London, so I wouldn't really complain.Probably not one for the faint-hearted...
