Good Points: ultimatetool, good for my personality

    Bad Points: regular hanging

General comments: I have been using the 9110i from 2001 onwards. Now the system goes off regularly and I have to reboot the system by removing the battery. Numerous visits to service centres was in vain. Can anybody tell me how to fix this problem?

I've had a lots of phones, but N9110 is by far the best! The design, simplicity of use, keypad... Great!

The 9110 from Nokia is not the worst but not the best phone either. It is a bit bulky but yeah, it is okay.

I have owned a Nokia 9110i since March and I would recommend it to a friend. It is a cool phone, i'm still finding new things to do with it! Have encounted problems with the Operating system but that is to be expected when the phone is more of a computer. Shame about lack of vibration feature and you can't write SMS mesages from the Phone side. Still lots of memory (I have 235 ringtones saved on it) and a great phone for games.

On ordinary days, I simply swap the Nokia 9110 with 6210, since the size and wearability do matter but on travelling, the former does wonders in keeping one in touch with the world, both have WAP but sometimes the webworld gives more edges, though slower in browsing but the text loading can optionally be stopped. Frankly i recommend above average users to have both phones, 9110 and 6210. After all your calls are not merely keeping in touch but actually the bare truth of communication skills!

The 9110 certainly is a milestone in mobile communications.
I am travelling a lot and need to stay in contact with a
lot of people in my office. Since everyone has at least a
fax, if not an e-mail connection, I can reach them even
outside office hours. I have tried many different PDA's
and even though the functionality is somewhat limited it
serves my needs. In any case I can type a lot faster than
any handwriting recognition. The only real problem is that
you have to carry it in a holster or ...

I have had the phone for 9 months now. At start it worked
perfectly. But after a while the problems started - as
described under "Bad Points". One day the HD crashed and
it was sent to the shop. I got it back and it worked for
about 2 weeks. Then the problems started again. It looks
like it is to complicated for Nokia to create a phone with
all these features - and get it working.
