I bought a £15 top up and was most dissapointed with the choice of surprises,ended up taking wash&blowdry and didnt find out untill i claimed the option that the nearest salon was in Dundee and i live in Aberdeen which is almost 60miles away,i couldnt go back and reclaim another option which has given less interest in purchasing another top up from 02.I got a choice of gifts last month and was delighted with a pc mouse.I wouldve preferred to know the areas offered before choosing.Greatly... Iv been with O2 for about 7 years, And the rewards used to be better when you rang them up and picked your surprise, now this rubbish with the squirting duck is appalling,
Why would i want my hair washed for free when i can do that at home plus im a bloke and why would I want £10 of at Sainsburys behave,Never heard of anyone winning more then £1 top up on there phone, massive con. I normally go for the free rubbish they offer I.E £1 top up or something coz i no for a fact the other ones...

What is the point now of O2 surprises. I have declined my last 4 or so, cannot remember when I received something fromO2.
O2 seems to forget not everyone is 15. I do not want a personal trainer, hotel room, or insurance.
What I would like is a decent 'surprise' . Why should I continue with this company.
O2 seriously needs to do something about this. I'm not allowed to say exactly what I would like to.

o2 surprises USED to be okay. You would get free texts on evening or free calls etc. NOW because they have 'IMPROVED' their prizes and added more we dont even get anything like that. Instead we get vouchers off places we dont even want to go to! (which are available FREE online), and we get £5 off rubbish shops like firebox and others that we have never heard of!
Plus, on top of that, when you are on o2 surprises online. When you click to see the information of what that prize offers e.g....

o2 no surprise here. Firstly whats with t 2 week deadline. Free calls etc i need at t end of my £15 top up when i'm skint and have no credit for a week till payday. Also y bother advertising holidays of a lifetime, phones, laptops etc i must know at least 20 people on o2 no 1 has won anything but texts or free landline which is useless as 99 % of buisness close at 5.30 they cost 35p a minute from a mobile. My thoughts on 02 surprises? What a load of rubbish who wants this stuff? As a great granny (15 grandchildren and 6 great grand children) I'm on text all day rather than telephoning. I would rather have a free call. or be able to pass free text on to a grandchild than have half price gym or some obscure snack pack.
My last two Surprises I just didn't bother to collect. WHO wants this? I would rather have less to pay out.

I am always disappointed when I find out what my SURPRISE is going to be as it is usually something I cannot use. I love having free texts or free photo developing. The time I actually won a week of free texting was the week I was going on holidays to Menorca, so I was unable to use my freebies. 02 SURPRISES is a good gimmick but I don't even bother to collect my winnings anymore as they are worthless to me. The deal of providing free o2 to o2 with free calls and txts is great particularly for families. However I and children have been topping up and playing the surprises for many months. The quality of what I have beenn offered has been poor. I have taken certain items for the sake of taking them however this month I have not absolutely poor.
