Bought this Apple Mac Mini 2009 Edition to run it as a small house server with Debian, but it was such a bother to get it working without dual booting, requiring a screen to boot, etc..
The machine itself got OK specifications, but is WAY overpriced compare to other tiny desktop computers on the market, and you are unable to do any meaningful upgrades.
On the plus side it looks cute, takes up very little space and is extremely silent.

By the mini mac to use with Mac OS maybe a different experience.
Did you expect it to have a screen when you brought it?

Mine works fine as a MacMini - running music movies doing a few web pages and photos.

My MACs will VM Fusion work well also, so there should be no need to dual boot. ( Virtual box is a freebee virtual ware that may work for the lynix boot )
