Favorite Discworld novel, with characters you'll search for in every book thereafter. Fabulous execution of characters, humor, and plot, with a tiny hint of the truth of the world.

Terry Pratchett, Mort is one of my favorite Discworld books, far better then then the first two books. I would recommend you start off with this book as it is very funny as well as simpler. I found the read captivating and laughed at many of the witty jokes included in the story. Death is my favorite character and you are likely to fall in love with his comical attempts to understand Humans.

Mort is not the best of Terry Pratchett's Death stories, funny in parts but the plot is mediocre and the book is sometimes boring.

As I said before,Mort is yet another Pratchett's book about Discworld-the only place where everything makes sense. It's captivating, funny and compelling as well as absorbing.
"Death comes for all of us. When she came for Mort, She only offered him a job. After he got her word that he doesn't have to die,Mort accepted. But he'll find out soon that childish illusions don't match the responsibility of Ms. Death's tutoring."

    Sounds interesting?
