“BEWARE! Do not use their Car Park Package”

The stay at Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport was absolutely fine, although think twice before using their Car Parking Service. This is managed on their behalf by Holiday Car Care, Manchester. I used the Park, Stay & Fly package. When we arrived back at the hotel to collect our brand new car, after my 2 week holiday, I noticed that there was damage to it. The damage is almost £600! “Crown Plaza Manchester airport is a two minutes walk...”

Crown Plaza Manchester airport is a two minutes walk from Terminal 1. I stayed one night in room 240, which faces Bewdly Hotel & a gravel carpark. The main thing is even with the windows shut you can hear the aircraft departing, so if your a light sleeper I think you will be disturbed. Also the air conditing/generator building is nearby and emits a continual hum. “The Crowne Plaza Manchester is new on the Manchester...”

The Crowne Plaza Manchester is new on the Manchester scene. It's well placed for Victoria Station and sited just behind the Arndale Centre and a stone's throw away from Selfridges.

The rooms are the best bit of this hotel. They are all (well the one's I've stayed in) a decent size with very comfortable beds and decent showers.

There's a large LCD screen however, the inhouse navigation system can be frustrating at times.

On the downside the rooms can get a little hot and my aircon wouldn't go... (read more)
