This phone is so annoying and to be avoided, I recently sent mine to be repaired with a very long list of faults, I dropped it onto laminate flooring and about 7 Keys stopped working, I dropped my N95 ten times and no problem, I have since bought the U-Bop leather case with magnetic clip which I would reccomend but unfortunately I cannot do the same for the phone, Call quality is not great and my signal is not great, cannot get a signal in same places as I could with N95, Texting is abysmal and my main hate for this phone, getting the cursor to go where you want during a text is very difficult, scrolling is slow and the worst is the phones rediculous learning facility, really every single 2 letter word has been replaced with non words and plenty of longer every day words have been replaced making fast text obsolete on my phone, it would be fine if I could access the library and delet these words but I can't, I could maybe do a full reset but then I lose the words I do want in there, someone tells me all phones do this but I never had one that does it on such a scale, Summary :- ridiculously annoying phone in everyday use but hey it looks great :(

The phone is very stylish and has a great camera but it is such hard work to use. writing txts is difficult as it is sometimes not possible to edit using the touch screen as when you touch the screen in the place you want to enter or delete the cursor will not go there. settings are not all listed in the operating manual, difficult to find, even my 15 year old cannot set it up for me at times and they change on power up. battery life is poor after a few months moderate use. the lock feature dose ...- Read Guest's review (151 words)

This phone's fine as long as you don't want to call, text or use the internet. The idea of the phone is great, but the basic features are so badly thought through that even after a year it annoys me every day.- Read Guest's review (42 words)

Have to carry 2 880Amh batteries, make very few calls and a few texts, after 10-12 hours down on 2 blocks. The Samsung Tocco is a brill phone with loads of Gadgets but boys at Samsung, ya batteries are awful. E-Mailed them no answer. First and last time I have a Samsung. Why would Samsung want to produce such a class phone then supply it with a battery that don't last a day. I have free unlimited internet and by can I use it? no, not unless I sit here with it connected to the charger. Read revei ...- Read ianbhemming's review (132 words)

I've had this Samsung Tocco Ultra S8300 for about 2 months and have found no real problems with it.
The one problem that i have found, which can be rather annoying, is that the memory card slot is next to the sim card slot meaning that to get to it you need to take out your battery! i found this unusual as most other phones have this on the side of the phone, making it easily accesable.
However there aren't any other problems that i have come across! another bonus is that the phone looks att ...- Read hayley louise's review (132 words)

The Samsung Tocco Ultra is my first touchscreen phone. Upgraded from the u600. I love the fact it has the keypad or texting while walking would be impossible.Nice phone, great to look at and the camera, sounds and screen are very good.Would recommend as a first touch screen phone. WARNING - you do need to get used to it before you review it as the screen is accurate to touch but it might not feel the case sometimes, you just need to know how to touch. I have long nails so it took me a long time ...- Read Serenitysmum's review (167 words and 3 comments)

I cant quite make my mind up about the Samsung Tocco Ultra. I've got this for my upgrade and is my first touch screen phone so am finding it a bit difficult to get used to. The widget is a bit annoying because it keeps opening when I'm trying to open a text message, and I can't seem to find where I can find out how things work properly.
The screen is really bright and clear and it seems to be very responsive, but there aren't that may extra features from my old D900i that I had and when im tryi ...- Read Guest's review (195 words)

The camera is wicked on the samsung tocco ultra but i would like a phone where the job it does best is to be a phone or id have got a digital camera. its fidly to call people an navigate around the phone as there is no arrow type buttons and the scroll key at the side tends to zoom when u want it to scroll or scroll way too fast. texting is a pain, whilst the keys are really good to use the temperamental touchscreen makes it hard to go bak in the text to correct it and if u are using the keys th ...- Read Angiepooh's review (219 words)

just upgraded from my V8 razor to a Samsung Tocco
mixed views on the phone
wanted a touchscreen and nearly got the nokia 5800 but wife bought it and i found it to be a brick, so opted for this , nice and slender like my V8 and pleasing to the eye.
menu is a nightmare, in that its over complicated. you want to go to somewhere quick but have to go through the endless sub menus to get there .
the motorola could customise the shortcut keys which was handy. you can sort of customise the screen but no ...- Read Italianstallion's review (282 words)

I upgraded to the Samsung Tocco Ultra but I am sending it back, I find the aesthetics Boring and dull.
You cant change the colour display or screen savers or alarm tones, My old samsung had more features and the touch screen is tempremental and I dont find the buttons on the key pad the easiest to press.- Read Guest's review (66 words)

Update to my first review - it has gone back to Vodafone, the Samsung Tocco Ultra must rank as one of the worst mobiles I have had.
Touch screen far too tempremental, worked when it felt like it, camera button took several presses to work, and texting was awful if you tried to re-read a mesage before sending it you couldn't it just deleted it as you went back through it.
Screen although big was narrow so not that great, have now gone to Nokia N96 and compared to the Samsung Tocco Ultra is st ...- Read jennifafa's review (105 words)

I got this Samsung Tocco Ultra as upgrade and I liked it at first but I cannot get the hack of a touch-screen phone so I just use the keyboard. Also, I have been looking to buy the flip case as advertized on most websites but they are not available for a few weeks. Surely accessories should be made available at the time the product becomes available on the market.- Read Guest's review (84 words)

I have only just received my Samsung Tocco Ultra as an upgrade and initially first impression was wow! However I think it will take a lot of getting used to, the touchscreen is a little hit and miss and sometimes when scrolling up and down it goes far too fast and you shoot past what you were wanting. Yet other times you are pressing an icon and nothing happens.
I would be very interested to hear what other people think to theirs.- Read jennifafa's review (115 words)
