I purchased my Russell Hobbs travel kettle 4 months ago as I thought the size was convenient given the smallness of my kitchen and I could also use it when I travel. The other day, it stopped working, which was pretty shocking as it cost £17 and I would have expected it to last at least a year. I have to say that even if this hadn't occurred, I would not have bought this kettle again as it is not detachable and so you are restricted by the length of the cord, so it isn't very practical.
