    I tried USB version and the Parallel port version of this suberb and popular backup device and there is a reasonable difference in speed, if you have a scanned plugged in then thin of the hassles disconnecting the zip drive evry time you want to scan. Printing is ok though with the zip connected. It ships with a proggie called the port accellaerator I saw little difference in speed there. This is one of thoes devices you just have to leave to gets its job done at the end of the day, dont try to ...
