I ordered 2 bikes from winstanleys a giant terrago disc womans & a haro sonix,the giant was in stock & i was told it would be delivered in 24hrs, the bike then turned up a week later & went 2 the wrong address i only knew that it was delivered by checking the my e mail. i contacted winstanleys 2 find out where the bike was & they told me it was a DHL PROBLEM & NOT THERES, i then trawled the streets in my local area until i found it 2 STREETS AWAY IN BROOK STREET & NOT OAK STREET WHERE I LIVE, as for the haro sonix 3 weeks went by & i was told they could not get the bike anylonger as it was discontinued they took my money even though they never had the bike, i wasn't offered an allternative & it took another 3 days to get 'MY MONEY BACK'

Bought a bike online for £270. Got an email saying bike was out of stock and was estimated to arrive in stock the next Wednesday. Monday we were emailed to say it had been dispatched. DHL messed up, so the bike arrived a week late. Then we discovered Winstanley's had taken a £112 payment out of our bank account!? I browsed the Winstanley website , I ended up choosing a Kona Dew Plus , which was not my first choice , but simply because it was showing as IN STOCK , and Winstanley claim on their site to despatch within 24hrs , via a 24hr carrier , I did not NEED the bike within 48 hours , but this is what their website implies, so two days later I mailed to ask what was happening (i.e do I need to wait in for a delivery ) - they mailed back aaying the bike had come into stock that morning (eh ? I just received my Kona Kula from Winstanley Bikes.

It's excellent and it was the cheapest on the web in my size. (20)

It took 6 working days from placing the order.

I was kept well informed about the bikes progress from being picked, to being

built and checked and then dispatched.

The staff were friendly and professional.

And most importantly it arrived before the weekend so I'm thrilled.

I would shop with them again, but I'd get an estimate of how long I should

Checked the Winstanley Bikes website for a bike, found one I liked. They built the bike for me and had it ready at the warehouse in Wigan and said I could pick it up from them, I only live a few miles away from them so this was best option for me. The Bike was a Mongoose Rockadile, has the feel and looks of a bike £200 plus, was on offer at £129. Love the bike. Would recommend.

Wow! Ordered BMX at the weekend. User friendly website. Easy to order. It was dispatched Monday. Received Tuesday about 10am by Parcelforce. Amazing - really impressed - would definitely order with Winstanley Bikes again.

Talking to customer services and making a phone order, Winstanley Bikes said that two Kona bikes would be dispatch the same day for the kids birthday, but they are not in touch with the warehouse with big backlogs. I no longer believe them about bikes being in stock because to shift a box takes a few minutes. It looks like they take your money for zero stock and make you wait. I liked the low price. I disliked the non-delivery.

I wish I had resd the comments about Winstanley Bikes from other customers prior to ordering a cycle. 2 weeks later still waiting and will be cancelling the order today. Shocking

I ordered a bmx recently via the winstanley bikes website for my sons birthday. I rec'd email confirmation that my bike was in stock and would be promptly despatched. Within a week it was delivered to my door, very well packaged and exactly as ordered. Highly recommended.

Just bought a bike and loads of accessories from Winstanleysbikes. I was worried after reading some of the comments on this forum. I needn ' t have been. Over the past 4 days my wife or myself have spoken with nearly everyone on the staff. They have all, without exception, been extremely pleasant and helpful. They have given sound advice, not necessarily trying to sell me the most expensive items. They have kept me informed through courtesy emails and phone calls of any items out of stock, and ...

Ordered a bike frpm winstanleys, based on price, I admit they did detail as out of stock, called them and they informed me the bike would be in from supplier in 2 days, 4 days later i called back they hadnt go it yet , 3 days later, bike was in stock when i called, and told would be despatched the folowing day, that was 4 days ago, Still hasnt been despatched. I cannot fault Winstanley bikes. The price for my bike was the cheapest I could find. The person I spoke to was very helpful and the bike was delivered in less than 2 days from ordering.
The bike was well packaged and perfectly set up. I have never bought a bike through mail order before, but despite my reservations, I was highly delighted. Well doe Winstanleys.

Bought new forks from Winstanley Bikes for my son's hard tail bike... £160, arrived within 2 days looked great. One day's riding however and forks failed. Winstanley now insisting we either take them to a local bike shop for repair or return to them for inspection and pay postage. Now about to be out of pocket with no forks and a bike my son cannot ride. Shocking customer service...I would have expected forks to be replaced immediately on return, and postage to be free. As an over view I got what I ordered from Winstanley Bikes. Son was pleased with bike which was not cheap but was the one he wanted as he is a keen BMX rider.

Winstanley Bikes are really cheap bikes but aren't cheap how they made. The bikes that are called elctra betty chromoly 3-speed woemns bike and the electra rosie womens bike are the same bikes that miley cyrus has!!! they mustt be good if she's got them. Her current one is the rosie but her old one was the betty one so i'm thinking the rosie one is better or she might of liked it more. I ordered and paid for a bike from winstanleysbikes.co.uk, it did not arrive and when I telephoned on the date it was due to arrive I was told it was still in the WAREHOUSE WAITING TO BE DESPATCHED.

What sort of Mickey Mouse Outfit is this?

Was about to order a bike from winstanley Bikes for my son when the price increased by £30 between me looking at it and then going to click on add to cart. I emailed to enquire about the price and they didn't even bother to reply. Indicates bad customer service to me. Will be buying from elsewhere.

Ordered two pairs of cycle shorts from Winstanley Bikes. Recieved one pair and an email that the other pair had been requested from their suppliers.

Judging fom other reviews this site allows you to order goods that they don't have in stock.

Winstanley Bikes have a good selection of bikes, with cheap prices
Ordered Giant FCR 1
Sent me the wrong bike & didn't have the bike I had ordered in the first place! Customer service arrange to pick bike up but still waiting refund even though they used their own courier service!
Be careful to confirm that they have the bike in stock..
