“Sent wrong size & not interested in their error!”

Sent wrong size! Took 10 minutes to get through to speak to someone! Not willing to send out another set until the ones I have bought had been returned and processed, timescale unknown!!!! What excellent service winstanley bike have provided, not only were they cheaper for the same item than argos, asda and amazon etc, they made me feel like a valued customer which is rare these days. “Not focussed on after customer sales or safety”

I put the bike together upon deliver... My 9 year old daughter then went for a ride and the left/back brake failed in a miserable way... cable came away from the leaver, i.e. connector holding the cable in the socket came away. In addition, the screw doesn't look right connecting the brake cable to the leaver. Both wheels also buckled. Fortunately she was not hurt. (Note I managed to put the cable back. I have to say I hhave previously ordered from Winstanley and had a delivery aftr 10 days, despite a despatch within 24 hours flag on the customer facing site. I ordered a new bag, which again was "in stock" and would despatch within 24 hours. Then I recieved a "courtesy email" with a despatch date within 10 weeks. Ordered a bike from this company showing as 'in stock' received an email a few days later to say the bike is no longer available. If you are to order anything from them I would suggest phoning them first, however I don't think its acceptable their system show products in stock when they very clearly aren't. Well I'm not really sure what to say about this company to be honest. I ordered a bike at the very beginning of April and after 3 weeks of being told different arrival dates etc they eventually tell me that the bike had been discontinued. 3 weeks it took them to tell me this. Ordered a 2k Colnago 2014 racing bike from WINSTANLEY Bikes. Was told....'delivery within 7 days'. 4 weeks later, still no bike, just a series of generally computerised e-mails informing me on the day a delivery was due that the supplier had let them down and it would be another week...then another. I ordered from this company because they were by far the cheapest on the net, and offered free delivery. We received out adventure zoom bike the next day and realised there was a manufacturing error. “Cheap products -such a shame”

We bought two Sparkle 14 inch bikes for our twins' birthday. Not only were there insufficient tools to put the bike together but the stickers on the bikes looked like they had been thrown on in the dark. The wire baskets had holes and very jagged edges making them unsafe for small children. Both bikes had the same defects so it was either just a rubbish product OR they just have terrible quality control. Justifiably, you are of course unhappy at receiving a less than perfect product, and for this we are very sorry. It really is out of the ordinary and I know our customer services team have already been in touch with you in an attempt to restore your faith in us. We have contacted our suppliers about this matter and replacement baskets are now on the way to us. I know you have concerns about them being wire but rest assured, undamaged they are safe and are plastic coated with no sharp or dangerous edges. I know you are up against birthday deadlines but the offer to replace both bikes does still stand. We will now stay in close contact with you until we reach a satisfactory resolution.
