What a fantastic experience!!! Didn't know what to expect from this cruise, but it was fabulous. Our guide, George, was excellent, informative and entertaining - get in his group if he's one of the guides on your trip. Thought we might get a bit templed out, but each one is different and tells a different story.
On arrival we were given our cabins which are smaller that appear in any photos you see online, but okay. Our cabin was on the port side at the front, on the middle level. Didn't experience too many fumes, only when we were moored alongside another boat. Beds were an experience, a bit hard and lumpy, but surprisingly comfortable. The balcony is big enough to stand out on. Bathroom is small, but okay. Everything was clean and spotless. Towels changed twice daily - look out for the animals they make from the towels each time.
Food was okay but a bit repetitive. Always hot and could always find something to eat.
The public areas are absolutely spotless - they never stop cleaning, even the life rings are cleaned!!!!
Something happening every night so no change of being bored in the evenings.
The staff are more than helpful and there was no problem with the all-inclusive - as much beer and spirits as you want and wine with meals. Watch out for the all inclusive hours though 11.30 - 11.30 so you need to make sure you've got all the water your need for your morning trips the night before.
All in all, can't think of any bad points, only good

We have just returned from a Nile cruise on the MS Monica- what can I say BRILLANT

Having been on a Nile cruise once before I knew what to expect. The MS monica was wonderful, you see other boats when you are moored together and I am glad that we booked the Monica.

Cabins are clean, comfortable and service was excellent, nothing is too much trouble for the waiting staff, always friendly and courteous.

We had been planning to do a Nile cruise for years but never got round to it. This year we finnaly achieved our aim on the MS Monica with Orbital Travel
It is definitely the best "culture" holiday we have been on. The organised visits were excellent and although tired at the end of each day, we felt it was well worth it. The tour guides were excellent very friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions. Seeing Karnak definitely being the highlight along with a boat trip to see th ...

My husband and I travelled on board the Ms Monica in June of this year, we booked with Future Travel who were very helpful and attentive from the first contact, even putting up with my endless questions concerning the Nile cruise program. My wife and I are experienced cruisers and were looking to find a Nile cruise ship compatible with the one we had been on two years previously, named the Crown Prince. The Crown Prince was classified as 4-star. It was beautiful, well maintained with good food and excellent service. It was also moored outside the New Winter Palace, unlike the MS Monica, which was moored at the end of a dirt track some 3 km from Luxor.Unable to book the Crown Prince this time we checked on-line for a similar sh ...

I returned from a week on the MS Monica Nile Cruise at the beginning of June and want to go back - it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life - made even more special by the fantastic staff aboard the ship.

Our cabin was lovely - bright and spacious and with a nice french window. Air conditoning was a lifesaver!! Clean and tidy bathroom with great daily maid service.
