I bought the Dorado leather white double bed from this company after surfing the internet for days only to find this was on my doorstep. Rang the company and got a price match and an assurance of the quality would be good. Totally true from limelight as faux leather looks real and is a fab bed which I assembled myself. Delivered 2 days later and love the bed and the company and delivery lads were good and took straight upstairs. Would defo recommend! Thankyou verymuch. (read more)

Rang about 1.30 to ask about delivery of a bed because the website said 1pm was the cut off for next day delivery as another company had let me down and it was my daughters birthday the next day. I read the reviews and was a bit concerned that a couple of them weren't very good so I rang and spoke to a gentlemen with a northeast twang but didn't let that put me off, I asked the questions I needed and then placed my order. We ordered the bed over the phone and got them delivered, which took about 3 weeks after a few follow up calls. We got a different base to what we understood was the correct one.After 3 days the sliding doors fell off. When we then phoned to have then replaced for the corrrect bases and tell them they were not the ones we actually wanted on the order, their attitude over the phone defenitly did not make us like a customer but more like trying to make the customer feel stupid. Ordered the Galaxy Leather bed Monday, delivered Tuesday morning!! I was going to place the order online but had a couple of questions so I decided to ring and speak to someone for advice. They were very helpful and were not pushy. They did recommend other products to help get the most from my budget, but the Galaxy was exactly what I wanted. One week after placing an order for headboards and bedside tables for nearly £500, I have had no delivery, no timescale of a delivery online, no e-mail advising of a delivery and contrary to the company promise on the website no one has ever rung me to advise of a delivery date. On ringing the company I spoke to a man who quite frankly had the customer handling skills of a boiled lettuce! I ordered bunk beds with mattresses from 1st for beds. The bunk beds turned up with only one mattress and when we started to put the bed together it didn't have any fittings. We rang to complain and were told we would get priority delivery before 9.30am for the other mattress. The mattress turned up at 11.30 and when we asked the driver he told us they'd paid for standard deliver and not priority. Overall the service has been terrible and we will not be using them again. slats on bed are not strong enough to take the weight of a 5 year old child sitting on bed.
2 weeks of complaining and still no reply to emails, no return calls to resolve the complaint.
letter of intended legal action now sent to 1st4beds.

Ordered bed and mattress with a specified delivery date. Mattress arrived but bed frame did not. Contacted services who assured me bed frame would arrive before 5pm. It did not turn up.
They attempted to deliver the following day, but as I had allready wasted a day waiting at home for them I instructed them to return bed to supplier.
They do not respond to emails, they do not return calls.
Do not use this company.

i searched the web for this bed and found that they did it on here for next day delivery, after phoning in the evening they didnt seem to answer it seems that they work 9 30 to 5 pm not the hours they say. They were very helpful though and the bed arrived by 10 the next day . the bed is great very study and well worth the money.

I telephoned them first to find out the lead time on delivery and was very impressed with the fact that they called the manufacturer first and then came back to me and promised to try their best in getting it delivered within a couple of weeks before I go on holiday! 8 days later and my bed was delivered. I did have a few problems but this was more to do with the manufacturer of the bunk beds I ordered than with 1st 4 beds. I found this company to be extremely helpful and they kept their promise that i would receive better made bunks. I ordered a bed from another company which was perfect. Unfortunatly their customer service wasn't and delivery was delayed over and over, and never given any answers. Then I found 1st4beds and ordered the same bed on their price beat promise, and got it cheaper in the end as I didn't have to pay delivery.
