My Triton electric shower provides hot water, but operating on low pressure, dribbles from the shower head. The Jetstream system, drawing in air to give the impression of a power shower, while using the same amount of water or less, and using less electricity appealed to me. The shower head looks good, a bigger head, and fitted well to my existing shower arm. The water jet generated is a great improvement. However, the relative temperature achieved from the same heat setting results in a COLD shower. On maximum heat setting, using MORE electricity, a luke-warm effect achieved. Maybe this system is effective on a high pressure system, but it is only effective on low pressure systems if you want a cool shower. Even then, will cost more on electricity usage I would have liked to know this before purchase. Have since descaled old shower head and reinstated it.

I thought the shower head was okay, the way it channelled the water certainly gave the impression of increased flow. unfortunately I could not fix it to my traditional style riser so I could not use it. If they could find a way of developing a traditional style showerhead with the same technology they could probably find a market for it.

We purchased a Jetstorm Shower Head in Feb 2013. My husband and I carried out a test to see if this did indeed conserve water and energy as the company claims but on our system, this did not prove to be the case. We ran the shower for 20 seconds and measured the water used in that time. The Jetstorm proved to use exactly the same amount of water that our current shower head uses; this was with or without the flow regulator. We have good water pressure in our property, so a standard shower head provides a sufficient flow of water. The Jetstorm did provide a slightly more powerful flow, but given how much noisier it is and the lack of any savings on water we decided that it wasn’t really worth the investment. In all a disappointing purchase.

EcoCamel Shower Head Worked well for a few times, even though there was some dripping from the hole that sucks the air in. This gradually got worse and worse. The showerhead feels cheap and the little cover that hide the screw that holds the place on came off after one use. I am sure that it did save water but the shower experience wasn't improved in any noticable way. I could but a showerhead for less than a tenner that would work better and I expect last longer. There is a warranty but I couldn't be bothered sending it back. I have fitted a Mira ecoshower now - wow what a difference well worth the extra pennies.
